Hi my name is Laura Kendall.
My life's purpose is working as a Certified Professional Transformational and Personal Development Coach. My passion is empowering other people to know their self worth and that they matter! As little children we come into the world a fresh, clean slate. We know we can be anything we want to be. Then parents, teachers, peers, friends, and family start telling us things about ourselves. If the things are good and positive the child grows up to know they are worthy and matter. Most of the time however children are told just the opposite. Harsh words, criticisms, judgments are spoken over us and before we know it we take on those words, judgments and criticisms as fact. We believe them and start living our lives accordingly..
If you feel stuck in life, passionless, unworthy, like you don't matter, you have a harsh inner critic at work - just like I did and sometimes still do. The amazing thing is that the beliefs about yourself probably aren't even yours! That's right you have taken on someone else's beliefs as your own.
In 2010 I had a series of horrific events happen and went into a period of feeling trapped, depressed and after being assaulted into PTSD.
Knowing I couldn't live this way anymore, I started on what I call the personal growth tour of life. I attended Tony Robbins Unleash The Power Withing event and fire walked! Then I took massive action as Tony calls it and researched and found an amazing coaching school totally in line with my values.
I am now a certified professional coach through the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching, better known as iPEC. The training is intense and truly goes deep to the core of issue - my issues. I found I had a huge inner critic or Gremlin as they call it, from childhood. This Gremlin has directed every part of my life
I learned at iPEC how to work with my Gremlin, how to change my limiting beliefs and how to empower myself and believe in myself.If I can do it so can you!
