About Beth Sonnenberg

I provide supportive psychotherapy to adults and teens struggling with various issues throughout different points of their lives. I specialize in the evaluation and treatment of anxiety and mood disorders and help you gain perspective, learn how to recognize problematic thinking patterns and change the resulting behaviors. I provide an empowering, motivating, creative, warm and non-judgemental environment. Working together, we can help you overcome whatever obstacles you are facing to help you lead a more accepting, fulfilling and successful life.

I have had a successful private practice for the past 20 years working with people who feel depressed, anxious, overwhelmed or just plain "stuck" in their lives. Whether its problems in high school or college, parenting, divorce or struggling with a difficult social or family relationship, I am here to help you get through it.

My training includes a BA in Psychology and Communications from The University of Michigan, an MSW from Columbia University and a Post Graduate Training Certificate from The National Institute of Psychotherapies.
