I Believe

When you are in a place where you feel stuck, overwhelmed, and tired of how your life and relationships are going, change can feel impossible.

Well-meaning pep talks from friends and family can fall flat, your coping strategies may not be working anymore, and the emotional fatigue can begin to affect many aspects of your life.

You might be wondering, “How much longer must I endure this pain?!” Waiting for something to change can feel unbearable. You may feel angry or disappointed in the people around you for not changing. You might be thinking, “This is not how it is supposed to be!”

I am here to tell you: Transformation is possible.

What we know from research is that therapy can significantly help people move from where they are to where they want to be. Through the unique relationship with a trained therapist, you can begin to experience:

Fresh engagement in life
Many people wonder how to choose a therapist as the process can seem overwhelming. This can become a barrier to receiving the support, guidance, and education that you need to move to the next step.

This is your personal invitation to take that next step now.

How much time have you spent learning about managing stress, communicating in a healthy way in your relationship, receiving others, or processing old hurts from the past? Most often we feel stuck, and on quick analysis, realize that when we hear ourselves say, “I don’t know WHAT to do” that it literally means, “I don’t KNOW what to do.” Enter trained therapist to help.

The role of your therapist is to provide empathy, support, direction, and guidance to learn the skills and strategies specifically designed for you to ensure that you meet your life and relationship goals. I am an advocate for a fresh perspective and new information to shake away that which is no longer serving you in your life. It is my job to help you move from “I don’t know” to “I know.”

About Jenny Glick

Jenny provides contemporary therapeutic and consultation services in person and internationally via the Internet. This is not your average therapy experience. Get ready to roll up your sleeves and dive in to some transformation and growth and move your relationship from blah to BAM!

Jenny has worked with families, children, and teens for over 10 years and brings years of real-life experience as well as numerous degrees and certifications to work for you. She is a mother of an active tween who keeps her humble and constantly “in the field,” learning how to be present, conscious, and mindful in real-life, ever-changing (read: hormone-filled) relationships.

Jenny has been married for over 14 years, and it certainly has not been easy. Eight months after getting married, her husband was in a near-fatal car accident, leaving him in a wheelchair for months. Soon a baby came (surprise!), and then her son was diagnosed with a chronic illness. People who she loved died along the way, jobs changed, homes were bought and sold, and new adventures seemed the rule of the day. None of this is particularly exceptional.

Everyone has their story of life. But what Jenny learned, not just from sitting in a university classroom but from being in it, is that relationships are one of the most important things that we have in this life. Learning how to be in relationship with self and with others is what makes the hard times bearable and the good times extraordinary.

These experiences led Jenny to making relationships the focus of her work with her clients.

An avid meditator, outdoor enthusiast, urban chicken farmer, and CrossFit junkie, Jenny stays on the cutting edge of relationship science to bring her clients the best tools and research to optimize their relationships today…with themselves and with others.
