As a John Maxwell Certified Coach, Teacher and Speaker, I can offer you workshops, seminars, keynote speaking, and coaching, aiding your personal and professional growth through study and practical application of John’s proven leadership methods. I am driven by a deep conviction and passion to help others grow. Before starting Yvette Gavin Consulting LLC, I held progressive leadership roles at Lockheed-Martin Aeronautical, Delta Air Lines, AT&T, Cbeyond, CNN Headline News, and Cox Communications. From managing onshore and offshore teams to directing an Information Technology organization, my leadership success is due in part to the teachings of John Maxwell. John taught me how to add value to my team and company. With over 20 years of coaching, teaching, and professional training experience, some of my most noted work has been with the United States Government. I conducted a workplace relationship workshop for the U.S. Consulate in Brazil, and have facilitated numerous workshops for the Georgia National Guard.
In 2007, the Georgia National Guard Chaplaincy Corp bestowed upon me the Exemplary Performance Award while serving as an instructor for the Strong Bonds Conference. I received the Leadership Excellence Coin in 2010 from the 78th Aviation Troop Command for providing relationship training to Georgia’s soldiers. I am also the recipient of the State of Georgia Governor’s Award for Outstanding Leadership and several Corporate Leadership awards and recognitions.
Nothing brings me greater joy than providing information that help others achieve their dreams and that is why I published two books—Recalibrate! Navigating the Job Market with Confidence and What to Do After You Say I Do. I am an alumna of Oral Roberts University where I earned a B.S. degree in Communication with a focus on organizational leadership.
