To The New People In My Life, Thank You For Being You

In these past few years, I’ve lost some people that I loved; either they have graduated, got a job in different cities, or some of them changed and things didn’t work out the way they should have.

We all know that when we grow up, we grow apart from some people as well, simply because life works that way.

I personally believe that everyone in our lives has their own time limits; they come at the right time, teach us some lessons in life, and then they leave or might stay with us for any given time.

But I’ve just realized that despite the fact that I’ve lost some people, the Universe gave me new people as well — and they are the ones who make me rise up against the broken heart.

I need to thank the new people who came out of nowhere and made me believe again that the universe is actually kind.

Thank you for accepting me as I am and being there for me right when I needed you. You gave me new perspectives about life and your presence made me believe that I should re-navigate my life to look for the things I am really passionate about.

Without your knowing it, I learned a lot from you. Thank you for bringing many new things to my life as well.

Thank you for listening to my stories, secrets, ideas, and thoughts. I know that I might annoy you sometimes with my complaints about life, but you still stay anyway and it means a lot to me.

Although we haven’t known each other for a long time, I still appreciate all of your advice and feedback, simply because you’ve helped me to be a better person.

Thank you for inspiring me to be the person that I should be. Your presence taught me that I shouldn’t give up hope and I should trust the Universe that eventually everything will work out fine. Your presence made me believe that, actually, the Universe won’t let me think that I’m alone.

Out of 7 billion people on earth, thank you for being here with me.

And most of all, thank you for being you.

I know you have wounds and scars here and there, but please remember that those are the things that made you become who you are. You shouldn’t see yourself as less than you actually are, simply because you are extraordinary and you should realize that.

Please don’t say that you want to be someone else instead because you are perfect already with your imperfections. You don’t need anybody’s approval and you are the soul that God loves the most.

I won’t beg you to stay because I don’t have any right for asking you to do that.I know exactly that your presence in my life, or mine in yours, has its own time limit and we don’t know when it ends.

But one thing is for sure: I know you will always inspire other people out there and I wish the Universe will always stay kind to you wherever you are.

Let’s pursue our biggest dreams and I hope we’re still in each other’s lives when we achieve it. Thank you once again for your presence and please don’t stop being you.
