Chef and Queer Eye star Antoni Porowski has a new partner. Making their public debut on Halloween 2019, Porowski and his boyfriend dressed as Blockbuster employees back from the dead to attend Bette Midler and Heidi Klum's Halloween parties.
They wore Blockbuster Video uniforms with zombie makeup and VHS tapes unspooled and draped over and around them. Porowski's co-star Jonathan Van Ness also attended Klum's Halloween party, which is usually always a star-studded event.
But though their outfits were pretty amazing, just who is Antoni Porowski's boyfriend, Kevin Harrington? Read on for all the details.
1. Who is Antoni Porowski's boyfriend, Kevin Harrington? He works in advertising.
Harrington works for the New York City ad agency Johannes Leonardo as a Strategy Director. His accounts include Adidas' focus on the global Gen Z market, Amazon's FireTV Cube and Stick, Volkswagen's new VW Bus, and Truly Spiked Seltzer.
His website says, "Advertising is weird. But it’s a great kind of weird that keeps every day interesting, and I love it for each and every one of its eccentricities."
2. He's lived in Australia and New Zealand.
Harrington recently returned to the U.S. from a two-year stint working in Australia and New Zealand for Saatchi and Saatchi Australia.
He has passionately described how much he loves what he does for a living, saying, "I’m obsessed with what I get to do each day, and feel beyond lucky to have landed in this industry. I love the pace, the creativity, the variety, the people — but most of all the bizarre dinner stories that come out of our day-to-day."
3. He was born and raised in New York City.
Harrington was born and raised in New York City but left the Empire State for college. He graduated from the University of Miami with a BA in Marketing with a minor in Advertising.
He did a study abroad program at Charles University in Prague, and while there, worked as a volunteer English teacher.
4. How did Porowski and Harrington meet?
So, just how does a Strategy Director at an ad agency meet a reality TV star? That's the million-dollar question here.
Porowski connected with his previous boyfriend on Instagram by sliding into his DMs. There's no word on whether or not that's what happened here, but we like the idea of Porowski using Instagram as his own personal dating database.
5. Harrington is a devoted uncle.
A look at Kevin Harrington's Instagram reveals his devotion to his family — especially his young nephews. Photos of him holding his infant nephew and goofing off with his older nephew are all over his account, as are snaps of Harrington with his siblings.
6. What happened to Trace Lenhoff?
Porowski previously dated Flipping Out's Trace Lenhoff. They started dating in October 2018, when Porowski was fresh off the end of a seven-year relationship with Joey Krietemeyer.
Porowski and Lenhoff went Instagram official in December 2018, and apparently broke up about eight months later.
7. Porowski and Harrington spent the holidays together.
Not only did the new couple spend Halloween together last year, but they also spent Thanksgiving with each other. In November 2019, Porowski posted a snap of him and Harrington with the caption, “Farmsgiving.”
The pair also attended Taylor Swift's 30th birthday party in December 2019, with a bunch of other stars. Harrington posted a photo of the event to his Instagram of him, Porowski, Gigi Hadid, and Swift with the caption, “Minutes/4 vodka sodas later I was in the green tree dress.”
And, more recently, the pair took a ski trip to Switzerland together, which was well-documented on both of their Instagram pages. So, obviously Porowski and Harrington's relationship has continued into the new year.
