He's an odd cat.

Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin's engagement came as a surprise to many — but not to their families.

Both sets of parents for the famous couple tweeted and posted their approvals and congratulations on the proposal. But one message was significantly weirder than the rest.

Hailey Baldwin's dad, Stephen Baldwin, posted — and then deleted — the following message:

“Sweet smile on my face!" the 52-year-old actor-turned-minister wrote on July 8. "Me&wife (Kennya) Always pray 4 gods will!! He is moving in the hearts of JB&HB. Let’s all pray for His will to be done,” he wrote alongside the hands-in-prayer emoji. “Love you 2 so much!!!”

So who is Hailey's Baldwin's dad?

Stephen Baldwin is the youngest of the Baldwin brothers (Alec, Daniel, and Billy), and was originally known for being kind of the bad boy of the group and also the "dumbest" Baldwin.

Prior to being a born-again Christian, Stephen followed in his older brother's footsteps and acted in several movies and TV shows, including The Usual Suspects, Bio-Dome and The Flintstones in Viva Rock Vegas.

He went on to make appearances in several reality shows such as  Celebrity Apprentice, All-Star Celebrity Apprentice and Celebrity Big Brother 7. He even baptized Spencer Pratt on the short-lived show I'm a Celebrity...Get Me out of Here!

He then went on to found three ministries: one that combined extreme sports with the word of God, one designed for people in the military and one started "to facilitate the gifts and calling of Stephen Baldwin."

Whatever that is.

There's no doubt that Hailey Baldwin's dad is a weird guy — but did you know these six odd details about Stephen Baldwin and his life?

1. He said he found Jesus through his nanny, who had a prophetic dream about meeting him.

In an interview with the Christian Broadcasting Network, Stephen revealed how he first found Jesus and became and born-again Christian.

After his first daughter, Alaia Baldwin, was born, he and his wife Kennya Baldwin hired a Brazilian nanny named Augusta. She claimed she had a dream about Stephen and his family before she met them.

"She goes on to tell my wife that, before she had accepted the job, she prayed with her pastor and some church members in Brazil," he said. "She was told through a prophetic word that, if she went to live with the Baldwins, then one day Kenya and Stephen would come to faith in Jesus Christ and be involved in ministry."

Even though his wife started practicing the religion immediately after, it wasn't until after Sept. 11 that Stephen converted.

"September 11th kind of freaked me out. I said, “Hey, what’s this all about?  My wife’s a Jesus freak. Maybe it’s time I begin thinking about this faith thing.”  Pursued it, became born again, accepted the Lord, baptized in water."

2. He has 18 tattoos — and one of them is for Hannah Montana

Stephen's body is decorated with multiple tattoos and strange reasons behind getting a lot of them.

Three of them he says are about different women in his life who he loved. A couple of them are about his commitment to sobriety. One is for his children, and another is a bible verse that reads: "I must decrease so that he may increase," to remind him to be humble.

But the weirdest of all is the "HM" on the top of his left shoulder. Supposedly, Miley Cyrus told him during a book signing that if he got a tattoo of Hannah Montana then she would let him be on the show.

He got the tattoo, but no cameo.

3. He was convinced he saw the devil in two of his Big Brother housemates.

After he was kicked off of his season of Big Brother, Stephen claimed he saw the devil in two of his housemates, though he never said who.

"Demons manifest themselves in people in different ways," he said. "For instance, out of nowhere, somebody can become very angry for no reason. That's not just an emotion. That's a demon."

He said he wanted to talk about these demons with other members of the house — but knew that the devil would use his knowledge against him.

"BUT! If I mentioned it, it would destroy my credibility in the house. Satan would be using my knowledge that he exists against me! I can't reveal the truth! This is gnarly warfare."

4. He openly admitted to abusing drugs.

Stephen said his first experience with coke was at his high school prom, and he abused drugs up until he was 23, when he met his wife.

He said his drug abuse and being in and out of rehab led to the downfall of his acting career.

His brother, Daniel Baldwin, also openly admitted to abusing drugs: "I'm a straight-up cocaine addict."

"I don't really drink very much, although I have abused alcohol in the past. And I don't use any other drugs. I don't take pills. I don't do anything. I'm a … diehard coke head."

5. He's said some uncomfortable things about his daughters.

When asked what would happen if one of his daughters came out as a lesbian or wanted to work as a stripper, he responded with the following:

"Jesus or no Jesus, if my kid started working in a strip club, I'd beat her ass," he said. "Now, the other question is interesting and culturally relevant. I have two or three very dear friends who are homosexual and they know I'm born again and we have an understanding that we're just not going there…"

6. The election drove a wedge between him and Alec Baldwin.

Stephen, who has been outspoken in his support of Donald Trump, revealed he hadn't spoken to his brother Alec (who famously plays the president on SNL) since 2016. They even had a public feud about politics along with Billy Baldwin on Twitter.

Hailey even spoke out about how the rift in the family was difficult for her.

"That was a very hurtful situation for me. I love my father, he’s an amazing dad, but we so strongly disagreed on [the election],” Hailey told The Sunday Times. “He and my sister strongly disagreed on it. My sister’s husband, like everyone on our side, just doesn’t agree with him."

"We don’t talk about it now. It’s not worth the argument.”
