Are Katie Holmes and Joshua Jackson dating? Did Katie Holmes leave Jamie Foxx for Joshua Jackson? Everything old is new again in the world of TV, with reboots like Roseanne and The X Files thrilling both new and old fans. So it’s no surprise that the hit 90s series Dawson’s Creek got the reunion treatment, too. A fee weeks ago the whole cast was together for the first time since 2003 for a 20th anniversary feature with Entertainment Weekly. That means former flames Katie Holmes and Joshua Jackson had plenty of time to reacquaint themselves with each other.

Here's what we know so far about the rumors that Pacey and Joey are an item again:

1. Is it love all over again?

An unnamed source tells HollywoodLife that the one-time flames are seeing heat emojis once again. “They’ve clicked all over again, and a lot of people are rooting for them and believe the timing is right”. The insider also describes the two as “really, really happy.”

2. How long has it been since they were in touch?

The two stars have reportedly stayed in touch over the years, with Jackson telling UsWeekly in 2012 that he got a call from Katie just after she finalized her split from Tom Cruise, with whom she shares a daughter, Suri.

According to HollywoodLife’s source, maybe there was more to it than friendly interest? The source says, “There’s no denying that there’s still a spark with Josh. And although they’re different people these days, those feelings have never really gone away.”

3. What have they been up to since they split?

They broke up in 1998 though Katie told Rolling Stone in 1998 that Jackson was her first love saying," I fell in love, I had my first love, and it was something so incredible and indescribable.”

But young love doesn’t always last and the two went their separate ways after dating for a short time. Katie famously went on to marry her childhood crush Tom Cruise (who is embattled in a scientology scandal right now) and Jackson was in a 10 year relationship with actress Diane Kruger before they split in 2016

4. Are either of them single now?

Jackson hasn’t been seriously linked with anyone since he and Kruger called it quits, though he’s been spotted with model Shafia West. He even bemoaned to Ellen Degeneres the difficulties of dating in the age of social media apps.

But even if Joshua is single, Katie isn't! Katie has been in a very private relationship with actor Jamie Foxx for about three years.

5. Or has she?

Katie and Jamie have never really confirmed their relationship, making it the most-known unconfirmed secret in Hollywood. However, there’s no real doubt that they’re an item. They were recently seen hand-in-hand on a beach, their first public photo together in years.

But rumors of a Katie-Jamie split have been out there for a couple of months, according to reports at HollywoodLife, which quotes a source who told OK Magazine, “Jamie still seems reluctant to show the world how much he cares about her, or even acknowledge that they’re an item.”

6. What do Joshua and Katie have to say about the rumors?

They’re both denying the rumors with reps from the two Dawson’s Creek alums telling the website GossipCop that there’s no truth to the stories. But for ages, Katie wouldn’t say anything about her relationship with Jamie Foxx, either.

Will Joey and Pacey have an unlikely happy ending? Time will tell!
