Rachel McAdams recently welcomed her first child into the world.

The 39-year-old actress reportedly had a baby boy with her longtime boyfriend (and now baby daddy!) Jamie Linden, 37. Unlike many of their Hollywood counterparts, Adams and her boyfriend didn't announce their new addition via Instagram but were instead spotted by paparazzi.

They were seen carrying the infant to lunch.

Though the baby was a surprise to many, it wasn't a surprise that she kept her birth a secret. Up until she was seven months along, her pregnancy wasn't even known to fans despite her noticeable absence from the spotlight.

Adams, who doesn't have social media, has yet to speak on her pregnancy and new infant, so technically this could be any baby in the photo.

However, the seemingly happy parents reportedly were heard gushing about their new child.

Photographers said they overheard McAdams and Linden tell people about what a "good sleeper" their son was. They also were heard saying that "he's a good baby."

The pair started dating in April of 2016, but have kept their relationships and her pregnancy pretty private. She was first reported to be pregnant only back in February when she was spotted out to dinner in Atlanta.

"She looked to be at least 7 months pregnant,” an eyewitness said at the time. “When they were leaving, somebody asked Rachel if she knew if she was having a boy or girl, and she said she didn’t know!”

The couple rarely appears in public together and have yet to walk the red carpet together. McAdams was not at the premiere of her newest movie, Game Night

Neither McAdams or Linden have commented on the pregnancy or the birth of their baby.
