Strange as this may seem, it can be easy to miss the signs that a guy is really turned on by you.
For example, me and this one guy I know had a very interesting dynamic in the past. It was one that seemed right out of a bad "Shojo Beat" series, and you might not believe me, but it was 100 percent real life.
Brayden, as we’ll call him, was sexually attracted to me. I was turned on by him. However, he would never admit it, despite the fact that all of his friends would tell me otherwise. Around me, he’d blush and stammer and he never could quite get his phrasing right.
Eventually, Brayden admitted what everyone around us knew to be true: he was really turned on by me but was terrified to admit it.
Believe it or not, there are many Braydens out there, especially when it comes to workplace crushes and similarly difficult situations.
Sometimes, we girls get an inkling of an idea that we’ve got a guy who’s getting turned on by us but won’t admit it.
The following are signs you turn him on and that the gut feelings you might be getting from that one guy at work are right on point.
11 Signs A Guy Is Really Turned On By You
1. He blushes around you way more than he should.
Grown men rarely, if ever, blush. If you see him turning into a tomato every time that you bend over, it’s clear that he’s getting turned on by what he’s seeing.
2. Freudian slips happen around you a lot, but not with others.
Some people have a Freudian or pervy sense of humor. However, that’s pretty rare among adult men, especially in the presence of women
If you notice that he tends to say things that have strong double entendres, then it might be a sign that he’s horny and can’t stop thinking about sex with you.
3. You regularly catch him staring at you.
We, as humans, tend to look at things we find attractive. Assuming you’re not dressed in something unusual, it could be that he’s legitimately admiring you from afar.
4. He makes a point of talking about how many women he’s had sex with or the crazy places he’s had sex.
Believe it or not, this is actually a thing guys do when they’re trying to impress women and often use your reaction to gauge if they have a chance.
This is actually called “fishing” and when you see this happening with other signs you turn him on that are on this list, it’s almost certain he wants you.
5. He’s hinted that he has a type and that you fit that “type.”
A lot of guys who have crushes on girls, particularly crushes of a sexual nature, will not feel comfortable openly admitting they want you.
So, they may dance around the subject by talking about how they have a type that you just “happen” to fit into.
6. You’ve noticed that he’s gotten erections around you and that he’s tried to hide it.
You can’t really get more obvious than this. Guys who are very shy, socially awkward, and intimidated by you might never admit it, but pitching a tent rarely lies.
7. When he makes eye contact with you, his pupils dilate.
One surprising thing that body language experts noticed is that people’s pupils dilate when they are looking at people they are sexually interested in.
If his pupils are a lot larger than they should be, it’s a sign he’s turned on by you.
8. He makes excuses to hang around you.
Men show attraction through how much time they spend around you. If he makes excuses to hang out near you, chances are that they want to sleep with you, especially if the excuses don’t really hold much water.
9. He talks about you a lot.
We tend to talk about the people who are on our minds a lot. We don’t typically think about people we hate on a constant basis, which means that him talking about you is likely a sign that he’s crushing on you.
In the case of him poking fun at you or complaining about you, it could even be a case of overcompensating on how much he actually likes you.
10. He does insane stunts around you.
One thing that I’ve learned over the years is that men have a tendency of doing stupid things in hopes of impressing women.
This is particularly true when they get aroused. If he’s doing a crazy stunt, he’s probably really turned on by you but just won’t admit it for one reason or another.
11. Yammering, stuttering, and stammering are the norm with him.
Some guys will have their whole vocabulary shut down when they see a girl they’re sexually aroused by.
If he’s constantly stammering around you, it could be due to all the blood in his brain rushing down below the belt.
