The Golden Globes have been announced! They are here and we will find out the winners in January, but until then we get to write about all the people and shows we love that weren't nominated for a 2015 Golden Globe Award.
Before I write about all the people who should have been nominated for a Golden Globe this year, I want to congratulate the people who were nominated because I'm sure that they all deserved it (probably), and I am aware that only five people can be nominated in each category. In fact, I know most of them deserve the nomination, especially Jennifer Aniston because Rachel Green deserves an award.
That being said, there are a ton of people who didn't get nominated this year that definitely should have, considering that the main shows that have been nominated in previous years have disappeared. For instance, Modern Family wasn't nominated this year and neither was Jim Parsons, both of which have won every year since anyone can remember. So, if they were trying to shake things up, they definitely succeeded, but left out some major players. Here are 19 stars, shows and movies that should be nominated for a Golden Globe this year and who I believe were straight up snubbed:
1. Nick Offerman for Parks and Recreation
The fact that Ron Swanson has never gotten nominated for an award is mind blowing because he is one of the best television characters and has been for years.

2. Peter Dinklage for Game of Thrones
WHAT. THE. F*CK. That speech at the end of the season with the trial and then the murders?! That was hands down the best TV moment this year. He was nominated for a SAG Award which includes thousands of actors, but he's not good enough for 90 foreign journalists? I can't even.

3. Philip Seymour Hoffman for A Most Wanted Man
Um, hello? No love for the late Philip Seymour Hoffman? Wrong. All wrong.

4. Parks and Recreation
Parks And Recreation has its last season coming up and they've lost to 30 Rock and Modern Family every other year, so come on. You know the entire cast is perfection.

5. Shailene Woodley for The Fault In Our Stars
Because Cancer. Yeah as a human being she's pretty annoying, but she was amazing in the John Green movie and deserves recognition for that one.

6. Ellar Coltrane for Boyhood
Umm, the whole movie is about him and he's not nominated? Oh okay, makes sense.

7. Channing Tatum for Foxcatcher
Channing Tatum is every bit as good as Steve Carell and Mark Ruffalo and they are both nominated. Hollywood Foreign Press, stop hating on Channing because he's sexy. Man can act.

8. Laura Dern for Wild
Reese isn't the only female who excels in Wild. Laura Dern is also pretty amazing in it.

9. Angelina Jolie for Unbroken
This movie has gotten so much buzz and recognition that it's surprising she wasn't given a nomination. Normally an A-list actress becoming a director is something the Hollywood Foreign Press loves.

10. Christopher Nolan for Interstellar
After Gravity you would have thought this would have been nominated, but it was completely shut out. Sorry, but directing a movie that's that complicated with CGI deserves to be recognized.

11. Ed O'Neill for Modern Family
You know what? Everyone else has won for that show, and Ed O'Neill was hands down the best character this season. So that's some bulls*it.

12. Sons of Anarchy
I don't even watch Sons Of Anarchy and I know it should have been nominated this year.

13. Amy Poehler for Parks and Recreation
Sorry to hit the nail on the head, but Leslie f*cking Knope.

14. Evan Peters for American Horror Story
Please, Evan Peters is carrying this season along with his handsome face and lobster claws.

15. Mandy Patinkin for Homeland
IT'S INIGO MONTOYA. PREPARE TO DIE.

16. The League
Dear Hollywood Foreign Press, outside of AHS and Fargo, you have neglected The League, The Americans, It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia and Wilfred. What you got against FX?

17. Max Greenfield for New Girl
Because Schmidt is the best thing to happen to TV.

18. Revenge
Yes, I know Revenge will never be nominated, but this season was really great and everyone did really good, especially Daniel Grayson.

19. The Walking Dead
This season of The Walking Dead was pretty epic… and they never get recognized. It's their time. The Affair over zombies? Really?
