Want More Tinder Matches? There's A Robot For That

This robot will give your finger a break from Tinder.

Some people use dating apps and selectively choose their partners based on attractiveness, proximity and whether they have a friend in common. Others use dating services and purely see it as a numbers game. They'll send out the same message to as many people as possible hoping someone will respond. Well, if you're all about maximizing your number of responses, at least on Tinder, then it may be time to turn to the bots.

Swipe right for all potential matches in hopes that one is willing to get down? Then your tired finger is about to get a huge break. A robotic finger called Tinder-O-Matic has been created in order to "like" Tinder profiles. It's able to "like" up to 900 Tinder profiles per hour or 20,000 profiles per day, allowing you do just about anything else normal people do.

The creator of the Tinder-O-Matic, Andrew Sinks, took a previous robot he had made called InMoov finger starter and turned it into the Tinder-O-Matic. Because what else are going to do with a finger starter?

It doesn't look like Sinks made anymore Tinder-O-Matics in order to sell, but it could be possible that someone will make something similar in the future, leaving everyone on dating apps wondering: Did this person "like" me because he's genuinely interested, or did a robot just "like" me?

And while Tinder can feel more like a game than anything, this definitely could suck the fun out of things for people who are more serious with their swipes.

Oddly, this isn't the first time we've seen robots interfere with our love lives. Recently, we learned that 1 in 5 people admitted that they would have sex with a robot. Now they're picking out our dates? Wow, if technology keeps this up, things are about to get a lot more interesting around here.
