Bob Hoskins Dead At 71: A Look Back At His Love Life

RIP Bob Hoskins! Take a look back at the English actor's love life.

Legendary actor Bob Hoskins died last night (April 29) at the age of 71. The star, who acted in classics like Who Framed Roger Rabbit and even cult classics (that were originally box office bombs) like Super Mario Bros. and earned an Oscar nomination for his role in Mona Lisa, reportedly passed away from pneumonia, in addition to suffering from Parkinson's disease.

Hoskins' professional life was stellar, earning a Golden Globe, a BAFTA and even an International Emmy Award. His personal life was similar to his career: Steady, but not publicized heavily, and still with reason to celebrate.

Hoskins was married to Jane Livesey, his first wife, for 12 years from 1967 to 1978, with whom he had two children, Alex (born 1968) and Sarah (born 1972) Hoskins.

The actor later remarried, this time to Linda Banwell, with whom he stayed until his death. He and Banwell had two children as well, daughter Rosa Hoskins, born 1982 and son Jack Hoskins, born in 1986.

If you're wondering how the adorable Danny DeVito-doppelganger Hoskins was able to attract and maintain his relationships, as well as his work, his advice is simple and credited to his parents: "Confidence. My mum used to say to me, 'If somebody doesn't like you, f--- 'em, they've got bad taste.'" Words to live by!
