Justin Timberlake's 5 Funniest 'SNL' Skits

Justin Timberlake on SNL

Justin Timberlake is the most exciting star to ever host Saturday Night Live, at least in our book. Who would have predicted that the one time boy-bander would one day join the ranks of notable SNL hosts like John Goodman and Steve Martin?

On Saturday, the "Suit & Tie" singer is set to take on hosting duties yet again, while also serving as the night's musical guest. Currently promoting his album, The 20/20 Experience, and upcoming Legends of Summer tour with Jay-Z, Timberlake has already hosted the sketch comedy show a whopping four times and has appeared in numerous side-splitting sketches.

Here, a look at five of JT's most memorable SNL moments.

5. The Barry Gibb Talk Show (Recurring)

Much of the appeal to "The Barry Gibb Talk Show" rests in how much the audience enjoys seeing Timberlake alongside funnyman Jimmy Fallon. The star plays former Bee Gee Robin Gibb while the SNL alum appears as Barry. All the more hilarious is that the celeb couple rarely gets through the entire sketch without breaking character.

4. "Breakfast Competition" (10/11/03)

What could be funnier than seeing Timberlake in a giant omelet costume? "Breakfast Competition" was one of the initial skits that showed off the pop sensation's impeccable comedic timing. He also got to show off his some serious dance moves.

3. "The Golden Rule (Three Way)" (5/22/11)

The former 'NSync member and Andy Samberg teamed up for the hilarious "3-Way" song, featuring Lady Gaga. This marked the third digital short Timberlake appeared in. The skit proved once again that Timberlake, Samberg, terrible dance moves and even worse facial hair equals mock pop song gold.

2. "Motherlover" (5/9/09)

Though it seemed impossible for Timberlake and Samberg to recreate the magic of "D*ck in a Box," they managed to pull it off with the Mother's Day themed "Motherlover." Few could help laughing at the wildly inappropriate track, which starred Susan Sarandon and Patricia Clarkson.

1. "D*ck in a Box" (12/16/06)

"D*ck in a Box" isn't just one of Justin Timberlake's best skits—it's also one of the best skits in the history of the show. The unbelievably catchy song was the first of three SNL digital shorts starring the singer and Andy Samberg. An ode to corny R&B ballads from the '90s, the bawdy tune will undoubtedly be etched in pop culture history.

Fun Fact: The song won a Creative Arts Emmy for Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics.
