Honeymoon Party: The New Way For Brides To Get Beach Ready

These new personal shopping parties (with swimsuit fittings!) are perfect for bridal parties.

We all know the traditional events that are planned for a bride-to-be before she gets married: the engagement party, bridal shower and bachelorette party. But, starting this May, there's a new party to add to the list, and it has the potential to become the most fun pre-wedding celebration: the honeymoon party!

The folks at swim and resortwear retailer Everything But Water had the right idea when they dreamed up their new VIP service, "Bride to Beach." It makes shopping for a tropical honeymoon a breezy and fun affair for the bride-to-be and her closest friends, especially since the most stressful part—finding an amazing swimsuit that flatters—is handled by the experts. Phew! What To Do When You Have To Wear A Swimsuit

The private, in-store experience (booked by appointment at any Everything But Water location) is like any other pre-wedding celebration in that it involves lots of sweet treats, yummy refreshments and girly luxury. Except, at this party, fitting experts hand-pick swimsuits, cover-ups, sandals and accessories for everyone's unique size and shape, and everyone gets 15% off if the party makes a combined purchase of $350.

Plus, the lucky bride walks away with a special Votivo travel candle, and (the best part!) she can have her swimsuit customized to read "Just Married," "Mrs." or "Bride" in Swarovski crystals.
