Hi I’m Dr. Dorree Lynn with Ask an Expert answering your love and relationship questions.  Today’s question is: Dr. Dorree, what is the best way to tell a guy that you will have sex with him but only if he wears a condom?

First of all, people do have to wear condoms because one out of five people- you have that?- one out of five at all ages have some STD or any other disease and you don’t want that.  One night of fun is not worth risking your life.  You can be a little bit forward and you can carry your own condoms.  There are great condom holders that you can carry.  Ladies, trust me on this.  Beautiful compacts that you can carry.  And you can tell a guy you really want to go to bed with him but it’s not worth risking either your life or his.  And if he cares about you why wouldn't he?  I don’t know anybody who really likes condoms but in today’s world they are a must.
