32% Of Couples Enjoy THIS Sex Position The Most

More times than not, the missionary sex position gets a lot of flack for being a "boring" way to have sex. And we see what everyone means — it's the go-to sex style, the position you've likely been doing since you lost your virginity oh-so-long ago.

But apparently, not everyone agrees. In fact, most Americans prefer the comfort and face-to-face intimacy of missionary, according to the latest survey results from adult toy company Adam & Eve.

In a web-based poll of 1,000 American adults, 32 percent chose missionary as their preferred position. Doggy-style and cowgirl were close behind with 23 percent and 22 percent of the vote, respectively. Only seven percent chose the 69 position, while six percent chose spooning, and four percent liked reverse cowgirl.

So while missionary is clearly the favorite, Americans are still pretty split in terms of how they like to get it on.

Unless, of course, you ask Adam & Eve's Facebook fans. Interestingly, results from the kinky company's fans were notably different. More than half (53 percent) preferred doggy-style, followed by cowgirl (29 percent). The missionary position and reverse cowgirl each received only six percent of the votes.

The sex experts at Adam & Eve say their customers are more adventurous than your average Joe, which makes sense. If you're buying sex swings and anal plugs, you're likely not as attached to gazing into your partner's eyes during penetration.
