Kristen Stewart On Why She's In Love With Her Co-Stars

Kristen Stewart On Why She's In Love With Her Co-Stars

"I couldn't have done these movies without them," says the 'Breaking Dawn' star.

Here comes the bride. She was all dressed in white and a bundle of nerves and emotions. It's not everyday that a human marries a hunk vampire, you know.

"I had a million different things going through my head," Kristen Stewart tells us of filming the union of Bella Swan and her vampire love Edward Cullen, played by Robert Pattinson, in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part I (in theaters tomorrow).

"I kept telling myself, 'Stop, stop, stop! Just experience it. Just do it.' I had to force myself to have the experience. I think you ruin things if you let your mind spin. I was so in the right place to do it. I just needed to put the dress on and walk to Robert." Robert Pattinson On Annoying Kristen Stewart & His Own Wedding

As for the whole "Are you and Robert dating in real life?" question, Stewart just smiles in response. She wears tight jeans and a black tank top with a blue jacket over it. Her almost black hair cascades halfway down her back. "Everyone wants to turn my life into a soap opera," she says, "which is why I keep my private life to myself."

Thankfully, the 21-year-old was more vocal about her other experiences while filming Breaking Dawn, including what it was like to be pregnant with a vampire baby and if she and Rob (gasp!) accidentally got married for real:

Were you mad at Rob who told an interviewer that you guys might have "accidentally" gotten married for real during the wedding scene?
(Laughing) Honestly, this is the first I've ever heard of that! Actually, Rob was great and did great during the wedding scene. The only thing is the minister on the set during the scene kept saying our real names instead of Bella and Edward. I was like, "Dude, you definitely messed up." But the fact is the man who officiated the wedding in the movie wasn't a real ordained minister, so we're not married in real life. 3 Reasons Robert Pattinson & Kristen Stewart's Relationship Works

Can you talk about your Twi-guys, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner, for a moment?
I couldn't have done these movies without them. I can't imagine what these movies would have been if I didn't have really solid and growing relationships with Robert and Taylor. It's like a big family. We talk to each other. We love each other… It's one of those things where if I don't see Taylor for awhile, I go, "Oh." Then I take out my phone and call him immediately. When you work with people like these people, it gives you so much. We really all got along and it shows. Taylor Lautner: I'll Never Get Tired Of The Screaming Girls

What do you think Bella has done for the empowerment of young women? The character says she will love who she wants to love – no matter who doesn't like it. That's a powerful message.
I'm really proud of Bella. She follows her heart. She tells women that everyone chooses who they love in their own way. It's not a case of why is one guy better than the next. It's who touches your heart. I'd like to tell young women that I'm the same as them, which is why it's all so cool. We have this common ground in making life choices. Above all, I think you should follow your heart.

What was it like to be pregnant with Edward Cullen's vamp-baby?
My favorite image of Bella during the pregnancy is when she looks like a cat sitting in the corner of the Cullen house. Her claws are out and her belly is swollen. Some people want her to get rid of this child, but she's like, "F you. Get away from me." It's just so cool because she's such a protective mother.

You're in the midst of filming Snow White and The Huntsman. How do you compare Ms. White to Bella Swan Cullen?
I guess the only actual comparison I could draw is that they are both very strong matriarchs. They just need to find their position in life. They're both icons, too. Actually, I find the characters to be very different.

Word is you're a big Adele fan and her music has helped you play Snow White.
True. I'm weird because I'm doing Snow White right now and I'm so into Adele's new album. I choreographed whole marches with my army behind me as Snow White while listening to Adele. She's really good for the story. Almost oddly good for it.

Are you someone who grew up on fairy tales and the whole 'beautiful princess gets her prince' idea?
It's funny. I didn't grow up on fairy tales at all. People tell me with Snow White, "We all grew up on these stories." No, not really in my case. I didn't grow up with the Twilight books either. I got really lucky on both levels.

Bella lost a considerable amount of weight when pregnant. Did you really lose the weight?
It was all digital. I didn't have time to lose weight, plus everything was shot at the same time during this film. I couldn't look thinner in one scene and then not in another we shot that afternoon. It's so cool that people think I really lost the weight. It does make me happy that people think I did a good job in those scenes. Those digital experts were amazing at what they did. 5 Kristen Stewart Traits That Robert And Men Love

How will you avoid typecasting after Twilight?
I'm really lucky that the things I've done that aren't Twilight are very different. I'm drawn to things that are different.

What do you do to relax?
I want to take this time after Snow White and find out what my interests are in life. That's not saying that I'm just going-going-going all the time, and I don't know myself. But I really want to figure out what I really want to do besides work.
