Brad Pitt George Clooney

Rumors of Clooney-Pitt prank wars include mentions of male prostitutes, raise questions.

We'll admit that we get as giddy as school girls when we see any news surface that includes the names George Clooney or Brad Pitt. With those two handsome and socially conscious actors out and about, how could we NOT want to swoon? This time, however, the news about them is a little different than we're used to.

According to Life & Style, the two actors have been paying male escorts to show up on the other's movie sets. 5 Coolest Celebrity Bromances

Now some of you out there might be saying I knew it! Or, like us, Um, Excuse me? but before we get to far, let's just say that the rumors suggest this business is all in the name of good, clean (?!) fun:

One perk to being an A-lister is being able to pull pranks on your famous friends that mere mortals could never get away with.

Life & Style's Scene Queens have learned that the prank wars between Brad Pitt and George Clooney have escalated to where both men are spending thousands to one up each other.

Their latest practical joke is downright naughty!"Brad and George are sending each other an endless stream of male escorts while each is on set," an insider tells the Scene Queens. "They will pay them in advance on a credit card to make sure the escort shows up."

The battle between the two of them has been ongoing for years.

"A few years ago Brad offered a $1,000 to people to get them to pee in the vents George Clooney’s car," an insider tells the Scene Queens. "George came right back and offered $5,000 to pepper spray Brad’s car and paint it orange." [SOURCE: Life & Style]

Sounds a bit over the top, even for these two close friends, which begs to raise the question: What is going on?

Well, ladies (and some of you gents), rest assured that this is one rumor we're hearing has no merit. According to GossipCop, these stories are false, with a rep for Clooney claiming that "not one of those pranks is true."

Wow. While it's great that the two guys are such good friends, we're relieved that there are statements out there telling us that this prank story has been blown out of control. Otherwise, we could just hear millions of fans around the world wonder if they really know these two Silver Screen Dreamboats.

Not that it would matter. We'd likely still be in love with men that dreamy.
