Carrie Underwood Wins, Flaunts Ring At CMT Awards

Carrie and Mike weren't the only couple showing off their hardware at the CMTs.

Wednesday night's CMT Music Awards show was a veritable parade of famous engaged ladies: Carrie Underwood, the night's big winner with belt buckles (no, really) for video of the year and performance video of the year, showed off the skating rink her hockey-player fiancé, Mike Fisher, gave her, and her fellow winner Miranda Lambert flaunted an equally gorgeous ring from singer Blake Shelton. And Taylor Swift just simmered with rage and wrote more lyrics about how boys don't like her because she's so unique and wears sneakers and all. Taylor Swift 'Chooses To Be Single'

Some of country music's first couples were on hand for the awards show, which was hosted by Kid Rock and featured appearances by Snooki and The Situation as well as a performance by John Mayer. Yes. You read that right. Snooki, The Situation and Paula Deen all hit the stage together and it was super, super weird.

Nicole Kidman apparently agreed with us; the Oscar winner was on hand to applaud hubby Keith Urban as he performed an absolutely scorching-hot version of his single "Hit the Ground Runnin'" with John Mayer, and next to Nicole were Faith Hill and Tim McGraw. Now we hope that Nicole and Faith, who costarred in 2004's Stepford Wives remake, are actually Nashville besties and hang out all the time gossiping about their hot husbands and poking fun at Gwyneth's latest Goop ramblings. 5 Celeb Couples Who Met At Work

Our new favorite country group, Lady Antebellum, took home the award for group video, which they richly deserved for their glorious booty-call ballad, "Need You Now." Fun fact: Lady A singer Charles Kelley is Katherine Heigl's brother-in-law. He's also, with our apologies (or our congratulations) to his wife, scrumptious.
