20 Hottest Men on Television

Multiple reasons to tune in and turn on.

Sometimes you don’t want a little something on the side, something easy with no commitments. Well, since you can’t cheat and blind hookups can get kinda dangerous, how about curling up with a television hunk? In 2009, we’re setting our DVRs, shutting the door and spending some time with these HDTV-ready hotties:

Kiefer Sutherland of Fox's 24: Smoking hot Jack Bauer does more in one day than most of us will ever do in a lifetime. We petition Fox to give Kiefer some sex scenes this season. We’re sure as talented as Jack Bauer is he could fit that in between the hour of 1:00 a.m and 2:00 a.m.

The Men of ABC's Lost: Matthew Fox and Josh Holloway make getting trapped on a creepy island look somewhat appealing. Kate is truly a lucky girl.

The Men of ABC's Private Practice: Tim Daly and Taye Diggs are just so gorgeous. We don’t know about you, but we would hug coughing co-workers if our medical clinic doctors looked this good.

The Men of ABC's Grey’s Anatomy: The prescription for what ails you is still a steady diet of Patrick Dempsey’s McDreamy, Eric Dane’s McSteamy, and Justin Chambers as Alex Karev.

The CW Gossip Girl Guys: Take your pick of who you’d like to XOXO: womanizing and dangerous Chuck Bass (Ed Westwick), cuddly and studly Nate Archibald (Chace Crawford) or brooding and lovelorn Dan Humphrey (Penn Badgley).

Sam Trammell of HBO’s True Blood: His character spends a lot of time without his clothes on because after he morphs into an animal, he’s naked when he returns to normal. We approve.

Robert Buckley of NBC's Lipstick JungleThis gorgeous actor plays the often shirtless photographer and boy toy Kirby Atwood. Copious amounts of sex and Robert’s sweet smile keep up tuning in on Friday nights.

Jon Hamm of AMC's Mad Men: Hamm plays the complex, womanizing Don Draper on this critically acclaimed, award-winning drama. This silver-tongued devil charms the pants off many a woman on the show and while we don’t approve of misogyny, we can definitely see how that could happen to a gal.

John Krasinski of NBC's The Office: We officially love romantic and funny Jim from The Office, proof that laughter is the best medicine and a hot guy delivering it is the perfect chaser.

Simon Baker of CBS’s The Mentalist: This Aussie hottie has millions of viewers turning in to watch him outwit criminals with style. We might consider letting him play mind games with us.

Jay Lyon of MTV's The City: Whitney Port’s new hot and stubbly Australian rocker has us tuning in to see him turn Whitney on. If lovin’ him is wrong, we don’t wanna be right either, Whitney.

Adrian Grenier of HBO’s EntourageThis show might be must-see programming for the guys but gorgeous Vincent Chase has plenty of ladies (including us) tuning in.

Henry Cavill and Jonathan Rhys-Meyers of Showtime's The Tudors: These two sexy men make us want to go all medieval on them…in a good way, of course.
