We'd heard that last Sunday morning Tila Tequila called the cops on her boyfriend, San Diego Charger Shawne Merriman. The two were at Shawne's house in San Diego when Tila claimed he choked her and tried to physically restrain her.

Here's how the fight and arrest appear to have gone down: Shawne and Tila had been out at the Stingaree club in San Diego that night, where witnesses took pics of Tila lapdancing on Shawne up until about 1:00 a.m. Then they went home, and Shawne told authorities that Tila was acting out of control and he simply was trying to convince her to stay at his house until she sobered up. She reportedly made a citizens arrest on allegations that he acted violently with her. Shawne released a statement that when paramedics examine Tila, no injuries were reported, and he thanked the San Diego County Police for their professionalism.
Tila responded with this tweet, claiming she was not drunk: "I am allergic to alcohol. It has been publicly known for years. That is how I got the name Tila "Tequila" cuz the irony. I cant drink"
Who's telling the truth? Shawne's ex-girlfriend Gloria Velez told TMZ that she doubts he hurt Tila because he never laid a hand on her in the four years she dated him. Meanwhile, Tila's not backing down. She met with the San Diego County District Attorney's office yesterday, and they're reviewing the case.
Reporters have asked Tila whether she'll forgive Shawne, to which she replied, "I don't know."
