Jennifer Hudson's baby doesn't need all those pink clothes, so Mom may have a solution.
Jennifer Hudson and fiance David Otunga opted to wait for their baby's birth on Monday to know the gender. After baby David Daniel Otunga, Jr. was born, he arrived home to a nursery full of pink and blue!
Yesterday Showbiz411 reported that Jennifer had accumulated a baby wardrobe suitable for either a boy or girl. We can only imagine with how many goodies the closet must have been stocked, but SingersRoom is reporting they know Jennifer's plans for all the excess gear: she'll either give the girly-pink stuff away, or take the items back.
Late Monday she and fiance David Otunga (who's reportedly a Harvard law grad and current WWE wrestler) welcomed baby David, who weighed seven pounds, 14 ounces.
Showbiz411 reminds us of the extraordinary circumstances behind Jennifer Hudson's pregnancy. Her mother, brother and nephew were murdered last October, and Jennifer quietly turned up expecting at a concert just a couple months later. She never announced or confirmed the pregnancy, but a May baby shower in her hometown of Chicago suggested that indeed a baby was on the way. Then her appearance at Michael Jackson's memorial in early July made it clear the delivery was imminent.
It's been a roller-coaster year for the American Idol/Dreamgirls/Sex and the City star who's also an Oscar and Grammy winner. She and David Otunga, engaged since 2008 after a whirlwind courtship, are reportedly already at home snuggling with their baby boy and celebrating their new family.
