Brad Pitt's mom wants him to dump Angelina Jolie. But Jennifer Aniston is taken by another Brad!
Everyone has an opinion on Brangelina and Jennifer Aniston these days, including Brad Pitt's mother. With the three megastars living in the New York area this spring, Jen in the city filming The Bounty Hunter, and Brad and Angie on Long Island while Angelina films Salt, rumors have been swirling. First it was that Pitt and Jolie were splitting up and sleeping in separate houses (but on the same estate), though the coupled denied it and offered up whisperings of an upcoming marriage. While we were left wondering which was the truth, it came out that Pitt and his ex Aniston had been meeting up in the city. Read: Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston Hook-Up
With all of the hoopla surrounding them, everyone has a different take, including Pitt's mom, Jane. A source told Now about Jane's feelings toward Jolie and Aniston.
"She's never liked Angelina—and lately all she hears when she talks to Brad is how miserable he is. As a mother, it tears her apart to see him like this-in such a negative relationship and constantly arguing."
The source explains that Jolie rarely visits Pitt's family in Missouri, whereas Jen was the perfect daughter-in-law, and when Jolie does visit, she acts, "prickly." Brad's mother has not only told him to ditch Jolie, but also to return to Aniston, if he wants true happiness.
Not so fast, Jane. Who says Jen would take Brad back, especially now that she is linked to this summer's hot new(ish) star of The Hangover, Bradley Cooper. The Hollywood Wire reported that the co-stars of He's Just Not That Into You were seen on a date at a New York City restaurant. And so the plot thickens. So despite mommy's pleas for a reconciliation between Pitt and Aniston (or should we say Braniston?), a reunion doesn't appear likely. It seems the Brad in Jen's life is the one in a movie about drinking too much, not the one in a movie about being a bastard (Pitt stars in Inglourious Basterds opening in August).
