The talk show maven weighs in on the Chris Brown situation.

If you were watching Oprah this past Friday, you saw the talk show queen get a little deep down and personal about the Chris Brown-Rihanna situation. Let’s recap: in her new Friday format, she and a panel of guests discuss news headlines and of course the Chris Brown-Rihanna situation came up, including Chris's appearance in court this past Thursday to receive felony charges connected to the case. When discussion turned to reports that Rihanna had taken Chris back during their getaway at Diddy's Star Island resort ( Gayle King, Oprah’s BFF, evidently shares our suspicions of Chris Brown tipping off the paparazzi, ) Oprah decided to share a little wisdom with the troubled couple, saying, "Both Chris Brown and Rihanna, if I were your friend, I'd call you up and say, 'Give it some time. Get yourself some counseling. Take care of yourself. Heal yourself first.'" She then addressed the camera and said sternly, "If a man hits you once, he will hit you again. He will hit you again."
Oprah is dedicating an entire show this week to the topic of domestic violence and the topic of Chris Brown and Rihanna is bound to come up again during the show. Rihanna, no matter how famous you are, it's Oprah speaking. Maybe listen to what she has to say because you're a good girl and this situation has definitely gone bad.
