A Celebrity Engagement Bonanza

A Celebrity Engagement Bonanza

Djimon Hounsou, Evangeline Lilly, and Colin Ferrell may soon wed.

Celebrities are getting married like it's coming back in style. A fist to this non-monogamy business, eh fellas?

First off, Female First reports that Evangeline Lilly is back together with Dominic Monaghan. And the 2 Lost stars are thinking of making it 'official' very soon (in the next couple of years, what's the rush?) in Hawaii. We're OK at differentiating between people and the characters they play, nonetheless we would have a hard time settling down with either of these guys. First off, who would want to spend the rest of their life always looking over the shoulder for Johnny Law? Also, you just know that Sawyer and Jack are just waiting in the wings for you to mess up even microscopically. And the other guy is a heroin-addicted Hobbit. Best of luck with that combo. On the other hand, Driveshaft basically rocks and Skechers are comfortable, well-priced shoes. So, uh, they have that going for them.

Nicely-ish, sorta well done, Djimon Hounsou, a bit. According to Bossip, Kimora Lee "kind of" got an engagement ring from the handsome Beninese actor. Rock on, half-hearted romantic sentiment. Say what you will about Russell Simmons but that dude does not do anything half-assed. Def-Jam was pretty awesome, a lot of people seem to think Phat Farm was super cool, and he does yoga in the nude. Balls to the wall, bruh. In all fairness though Djimon Hounsou, was rockin' just tighty whiteys in that Calvin ad. Maybe the sorta engagement was a kinda a misunderstanding on Kimora's part. Congratulations-ish, gang.

Colin Ferrell, per Metro, may have gotten hitched to girlf Muireann McDonnell on the low-low. Basically, the only evidence is that he was rocking (or wearing) a wedding band (we hope they played "Celebration") as he walked through LAX earlier this week. He also had something really nice to say about McDonnell. Something about having a hard time finding the right girl, it was lovely. But does it mean he's married? And if so, is this the end of month-long whiskey and yayo benders punctuated with the occasional 22-year old fashion model? Not to get all maudlin, but it was a great era. Remember when he was seen with Britney Spears? Those were good times. We wish that he and Will Ferrell could have collaborated on something as the Ferrell brothers. Like a Hardy Boys movie or something.

We guess that though they're engaged that Evangeline Lilly and Dominic Monaghan will be the last to marry of these three groups. First will be Ferrell (if they're not already married). And Kimora and Djimon will be somewhere in the middle.

How do you order these couples? Both in terms of what kind of couple they make and when they'll wed.
