About Larissa Rzemienski

My name is Larissa Rzemienski and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I serve as an adjunct faculty member at two major universities, in the fields of Psychology and Human Services. I recently received the Distinguished Faculty Award in the College of Social Sciences. It was a great honor! I grew up in Illinois and then came to Arizona to study Psychology at Arizona State University. I received a Bachelor of Psychology degree and Master of Counseling Psychology degree at Arizona State University. I also completed an M.B.A. in Marketing Management at the University of Phoenix. I have over ten years of experience in the field of psychology, including working as a high school guidance and counseling chair, teen crisis hotline supervisor, and juvenile probation counselor. I volunteer for numerous local organizations, assisting them with fundraising efforts and as a content expert for delivery of services.

I live in Phoenix, AZ with my 11 year old daughter.  She is a true thespian by heart, so you can find me being her chaffeur and stage mom.  Having lost my husband just a few years ago, I have a deep understanding of grief and loss issues.  Not only on my end, but also from my daughter's perspective.

You can also follow me at TV Film News where I am "The Resident Hollywood Psychoanalyst." I link psychology to Hollywood as I review movies, TV, and more!
