About Heather Siegel
Heather Siegel is the author of the memoir OUT FROM THE UNDERWORLD (Greenpoint Press, 2015). Her work has appeared on Salon.com, The Mother Magazine and Author Magazine, as well as in various trade publications. She holds an MFA in nonfiction writing from The New School and is interested in the arts, nutrition, health, beauty and relationships. She has founded several independent businesses, including a coffeehouse, a café, an organic juice bar and a natural beauty bar. She lives with her husband and daughter in the woods of Long Island.
