- About Me:Easy-going, free-spirited, adventurous, love to laugh and joke. Hugs, high fives, dances, advice you might not take, and a shoulder to lean on are always free, no questions asked. One of my absolute favorite pasttimes is hanging out with friends, whether just one or a huge group, and just LIVING my life. I'm single again, and I realize now that when I was married I let entirely too many things slip through the cracks, especially my relationships with my friends. So now I'm back, in force, in frickin' SPADES, to make sure that never happens again. I really think I have what I once heard referred to (on an episode of House) as the "Rubik's complex." Basically you give me a puzzle and I will lose myself in it until I solve it. Then I'll ask for another, and dammit make it more difficult this time, I have a need to know how things work, and I love pulling stuff apart and putting it back together again. How else am I going to learn how things work? Well I've decided that when I get out of the Army I'm going back to my hometown of Tucson, Arizona, a place I miss dearly. I just recently switched my major from psychology (although it's an area I still have an avid interest in) to veterinary medicine. I prefer people to animals, a fact which doesn't surprise me or the people that know me. After five years of working with people who are showing their worst side to the world on that particular day, I could use a little time with some subjects who don't talk back and just want me to scratch them behind their ears. I have a really hard time taking myself seriously most of the time...I find life to be an endlessly fascinating adventure. I don't rate high on the tact and diplomacy scale, but rather call things like I see 'em. This tends to get me in trouble sometimes.

What is a Blog?
A blog is a like a public journal. Any YourTango user can create a blog, which is a place to write about anything and everything related to relationships. Your posts will appear in the blogs section of your profile.
Why Should I Write One?
Write a blog because you have something to say, and YourTango wants to hear it. Write because you're in a relationship, falling in love, breaking up, getting married, dating or fighting. Write because you're ecstatic, lonely, surprised or scared. Write because you have a question, an answer, an opinion or a rant.
Need another reason? You could be featured on our homepage!
How Do I Create a Blog Entry?
Writing a blog is super easy. Just write something in the empty box. It can be as short or as long as you want. Include a catchy headline and description so people will want to read your post. Click "preview" to see what the post will look like before it goes up, and publish what you've written on the site. That's it!
