About Aaron Kaplan

I am a  Coach Training Alliance- Certified Coach (CTA-CC), Certified Prepare-Enrich Facilitator, and CDC Certified Divorce Coach®,who also happens to be an ordained member of the clergy.  Both the CTA and CDC training and certifications are ICF (International Coach Federation) accredited, and I am also a member of ICF, and serve as president of the ICF-Houston Chapter.  I specialize in helping people create and maintain healthy, happy, functional, and fulfilling intimate relationships, in addition to helping those individuals who are navigating the challenges of divorce, as well as life after divorce.  I have had the honor and privilege of providing support, pastoral counseling, and coaching to numerous individuals and couples over the years.  I draw upon my professional training, proven coaching methodologies and strategies, as well as my own personal and professional experience, in creating and maintaining a safe, calm, nurturing, supportive, patient, nonjudgmental, and highly confidential environment and relationship where I serve as your ally, sounding board, thinking and accountability partner, advocate, and cheerleader.  When we are collaborating and working together, you will be able to feel as though it is safe for you to "let your guard down," open up, be vulnerable, and honestly express your genuine, authentic needs, without having to feel the pressure of having to live up to, and reflect the "image" or paradigm that you have to portray elsewhere.  You will be collaborating and working with someone who has been in your shoes, understands what you are going through, and is someone you can completely let your guard and be vulnerable with, and, most importantly, honestly express yourself genuinely and authentically in complete openness, confidentiality, and safety.

As your personal coach, I will always listen to you with complete empathy and compassion, never judge you, and my only personal agenda is to be your sounding board, thinking, support, and accountability partner, and most of all your ally.  You will no longer have to feel as though you are isolated and having to go through the pain of divorce or breakup alone, even though you are probably surrounded by friends, family, colleagues, and associates, who, as well-meaning, and well-intentioned as they may be, still have their own personal biases, opinions, and agendas.  You will no longer have to struggle by yourself with the stress and overwhelm of having to compartmentalize and keep everything  that is going on in your personal life extremely private and contained, so that it does not affect the public "image" and paradigm that you feel as though you have to maintain and continue to live up to, or interfere with all of the various professional/communal responsibilities that you have to fulfill, despite all the intense emotions you are feeling and experiencing privately.

You deserve to live a personal life that honors and exemplifies your best, most authentic self, needs, desires, goals, and values.  You also deserve to live each day experiencing love, joy, happiness, growth, contribution, and fulfillment.
