Thee end is just around the corner for Jon and Kate Gosselin. Page Six is reporting that Jon and Kate are already talking to lawyers. In fact, the interview that Jon recently gave to People magazine to get his side of the story out there was apparently conducted from the offices of a high-powered divorce attorney in Manhattan. While the couple sorts out the details of what this will mean for them and the future of their eight kids, they're already living separate lives. Jon is at their home in Wernersville, Pa with their twin daughters while Kate is with the sextuplets in North Carolina.
Wanda Sykes, who brought the house down at Saturday's White House Correspondents' Association Dinner, didn't show a bit of the exhaustion she must have been feeling. The Curb Your Enthusiasm star's wife of seven months, Alexandra, gave birth to fraternal twins on April 27, and we have heard that two-week-old babies can be a lot of work, so we now have even more respect for the splendid performance she turned in at the dinner.
Former Saturday Night Live star Maya Rudolph and her partner, There Will Be Blood director Paul Thomas Anderson, are expecting their second child, Rudolph announced Tuesday on The View. "Somebody spilled the beans, but I'd rather break it here," Maya told Barbara Walters. "I'm having another one. I've got another bun in the oven. No. 2. I'm so excited."
Just a few weeks ago, the online world was aflutter with the imminent divorce of Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick. And today we're learning that the stars are expecting twins via surrogacy. This probably puts the divorce talk on the back burner for now.
It takes two to tango, marry, divorce, and remarry, but it might take more than two –and let’s say we’re talkin’ babies, here- to keep Charlie Sheen in a relationship. Charlie, 43, severed marital ties with Denise Richards, mother of their two daughters, and according to Celebitchy it looks like he may be warming up for divorce number three from Brooke Mueller, 31. Brooke is currently carrying Charlie’s twins, but a recent In Touch report questions whether Charlie and Brook will last until April, when the babies are due. Sources say the couple is going through a rough patch and after five whole months of marriage, it may indeed be primetime for divorce. One source told In Touch that the couple has been arguing- perhaps enough to send Brooke running for the hills or at least to Palm Beach, Fla., to visit momma Mueller aka Moira Fiore, who neither confirmed nor denied her daughter’s presence.
Last February brought rumors of how Jennifer Aniston likes her eggs –frozen. However, it doesn't look like she'll be dipping into her rainy-day stock, since recent reports say she'd rather have her eggs fertilized. In fact, Star has reported that she's been taking some serious steps to ready her almost-forty body for child-bearing with John Mayer. (The sooner the better!) Star's story says that the couple is crossing their fingers for twins. (Sadly, it will still take about a dozen additional children to one-up Brangelina, especially since Angelina has a kid for ever year she is younger than Aniston... that would be six). Aniston, 39, is six years older than Angelina, but she high hopes to conceive before her 40th birthday. Nonetheless, Jen has allegedly undergone a string of not-so-secret-anymore fertility treatments. Better make hers a double!
Charlie Sheen is a big fan of twins. This has many, many possible meanings. But right now he's a fan of the twins that new wife Brooke Mueller is bearing (likely also baring) for him. He's hoping for at least one boy. We're hoping for a combined 40 fingers and toes. Denise Richards is probably hoping for a flood.
According to SkyNews, 2 women in the UK had split birth quadruplets within 22 hours of one another. Confused? Don't be. Karen Wesolowski and Martha Padgett spent 3 years and like $70,000 trying to get pregnant. The lesbian couple tried it all and finally the IVF took... for both of them. Using Martha Padgett's eggs and donor sperm the couple decided to double their odds by both undergoing IVF. And the gamble paid off with four-of-a-kind.
The Telegraph recently reported on an interesting family: A set of identical twin women met and married a set of identical twin men. Then one of the couples produced a set of twin boys. We'd draw a diagram if we had the Web capability. One of the twin couples (Note: We could easily use each of their names from this point forward, but is there really any point? It'll just be confusing.) met in 1998 at Twin Day, the annual Twin festival. (The other twins sure got lucky: Their siblings totally hooked them up. Or they're just lazy.)
A couple in Australia tried to sue their doctor over giving them twins through IVF. The explicitly wanted 1 baby and claim that his negligence is a major problem. They just got shot down but the case raised many questions about who should get access to IVF and they've really stirred up a hornets nest.
Daily Telegraph reports that SINGER Jennifer Lopez has given birth to twins and that People magazine has reportedly paid about $US6.5 million for the photo rights. That amount in fact does not include worldwide rights which J.Lo has reportedly sold to OK! Magazine which will print the pictures in their 15 international editions. The boy and girl, delivered in a Long Island, New York hospital, were the first for the 38-year-old actress and singer, whose efforts to become pregnant have filled tabloid pages in the past few years.
