Here's a rumor that's bound to make Twilight fangirls giddy with excitement (not because they love her, but because they lust after Robert Pattinson so much): Kristen Stewart is gay, claims an Australian VJ and fashion designer who goes by the name Ruby Rose. Ruby recently tweeted: "I'm sorry, but Kristen Stewart has to be a lesbian. I don't mean to sterotype but isn't it obvious?" Perez Hilton has also jumped on the rumor bandwagon, telling KStew to "embrace your lezlicious self!"
Last week the planet exploded when Oprah got Robert Pattinson to admit that he and Kristen Stewart are hittin' it on the regular. But it seems Kristen must be the patient sort, because their Eclipse costar Ashley Greene says in the new issue of Seventeen that Rob is clueless when it comes to the ladies.
For all of you who have read the Twilight books and are secretly psyched to see the new movie, Eclipse, when it opens in June, the good people at The Oprah Winfrey Show have decided to air a special Robsten episode this Thursday, featuring interviews with Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner and Dakota Fanning. According to E!'s Ted Casablancas, Oprah decided that she had to "go there" and ask Rob and Kristen if they were dating during the show. (Evidently, Oprah thought she could do what no other interviewer has and get them to actually confirm it.) And while they gave their standard non-answer, it was another story backstage.
Robert Pattinson should start a girlfriend waiting list. Not only would a million 'Twilight' fangirls love to be the Bella to his Edward (us included), Jennifer Love Hewitt has now thrown her hat into the ring as well, telling Britain’s Daily Express that she wants to date him.
In some ways, an affair between Leighton Meester and Robert Pattinson would make sense: he possessing the same transcontinental charm of her last boyfriend, Sebastian Stan, without all the hang ups that come with a man actually desiring a relationship. Leighton Meester "doesn't know how to be in a relationship and doesn't really like them," or so she says, which makes R-Pattz perfect hook-up. How so? Well, there's the whole Kristen Stewart thing for starters, not to mention his demanding work schedule and his all-around discomfort with himself. The dude hardly seems like he enjoys the time he spends in his own skin! Meester, for her part, looks like a sexier Kristen Stewart, an older woman willing to help Pattinson overcome his vagina allergy for a night. And then send him on his way the next morning, of course. But is it true what the tabloids are reporting?
I was minding my own beeswax reading a magazine on the subway recently when I noticed all these teenage girls staring at me. They whispered to each other, giggled and pointed. Finally, I caught my reflection in a window and figured out the cause of the hullabaloo. Robert Pattinson, the vampire dude from Twilight, was on the cover of my Vanity Fair. What’s the big whoop? Sure, Pattinson is lovely in a James Dean knockoff way. But because of him, legions of adult women and their daughters are fantasizing about waifish boys flying down from the skies to fang them in the craw. Boggles the mind. Maybe the vampire thing doesn’t do it for me because I have trouble getting turned on by scenarios that could never happen. Or maybe because I actually dated a vampire.
Like it or not, Edward Cullen is the fictional hottie du jour. Never before have women been so enamored by a sparkly, lovesick centenarian torn between protecting his girlfriend and eating her for dinner. Despite Edward's edgy persona and "angelic" good looks, we're not convinced that he's the literary dreamboat that thousands of Twilight and New Moon fans have made him out to be. Before Edward Cullen swooped into our libraries and bookstores, we had other male literary characters to dazzle us.
She thinks he's "an amazing guy." He calls her "hilarious," saying "it was definitely not hard to play her love interest" in the upcoming movie Valentine's Day. But are they together? The two Taylors aren't telling, at least definitively... Choosing instead to take a play right out of the R-Pattz/K-Stew handbook and play coy with the romance rumors.
They may not be standing together in the Twilight cast picture to the left, but everybody involved knows what's going on between Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson. And more and more seem to be speaking out (some on twitter) about the secret relationship that really does exist. This time, it's New Moon director Catherine Hardwicke, who pretty much confirms the obvious: K-Stew and R-Pattz are a couple.
