We loved Lauren Conrad and watching the drama of her life unfold each week on Laguna Beach and The Hills, but we must say, the grownup Conrad impresses us even more these days.

It warms my heart that after having their engagement unceremoniously broken off by Bears quarterback Jay Cutler, and suffering the humiliation of an ill-timed wedding photo shoot, Kristin Cavallari is doing so well.

It was just last fall when Hills star Kristin Cavallari and soon-to-be fiancé, Bears quarterback Jay Cutler, first got together. And a few more months after that, they were engaged to be married. And while Kristin was busy excitedly planning and fine-tuning the details of their wedding, Jay abruptly ended things last week, reportedly catching Ms. Cavallari by surprise. Jay and Kristin were engaged in April—Jay asked for Cavallari's hand while they were vacationing in Mexico, and People reports that the couple was originally planning a spring 2012 wedding to take place just after football season wrapped up. And as of recent, they had been spending a lot of time in Chicago, where, presumably, Cutler has been busy training for the upcoming Bears season.

She's been hated by almost every girl who's crossed her path at some point, and was pegged as the perfect antagonist for Lauren Conrad's nice girl archetype on Laguna Beach and later the Hills. But according to People.com, "bad girl" Kristin Cavallari is ready to settle down with Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler.

The only income coming Speidi's way these days is from their infamous set-up paparazzi shots, which are slowly falling by the wayside as tabloid editors and readers have long realized they are just publicity stunts, ahem, their divorce.

Alright, we'll admit it: In spite of the fact that Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt can be pretty overwhelming, we've also found it strangely fascinating how much Speidi can capture out attention with their dramatic courtship (not to mention the great lengths they will go to make sure the public is in the loop with every detail of their union since their days on The Hills). That's why when we hear that in the middle of their divorce, Pratt sends an apology letter to Montag, we can't help but to be curious once again.

The thing we thought would not happen is actually happening: Heidi Montag has filed for divorce from Spencer Pratt. People reports that Heidi, who has been separated from Spencer for two months, cited irreconcilable differences.

Spencer Pratt is demanding attention by dressing up as an old man and proclaiming that his split from wife Heidi is just a publicity stunt. "We love each other but I'm a fame whore and I'll never grow out of it," Spencer said to People magazine.

Well, that didn't take long. Us Weekly is reporting that somewhere — deep down in their underground evil lair, perhaps — Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag are "laughing" at the world and "having a blast" at the idea that anyone would ever choose to believe that their coupledom was over.

In the new issue of Star Magazine, Heidi Montag’s dad, Bill, admitted he is concerned for his daughter and hasn’t heard from her since March. "I’m worried for her," said Bill Montag. "I’m afraid for her life." Okay. So let us get this straight, Mr. Montag. You were perfectly okay with your daughter moving to Los Angeles, starring on an MTV reality show, having numerous rounds of plastic surgery that rendered her unrecognizable, alienating her fake TV friends in order to hook-up with and marry an obviously controlling guy whose biggest accomplishment is a flesh-colored beard, and, now that the tabloids are reporting that Heidi and Spencer live in a dirty house, NOW you’re concerned?

This week's issue of Us Weekly chronicles the increasingly paranoid and crazy life led by Spencer and Heidi Pratt, as revealed on The Hills and in Spencer's would-be-funny-if-they-weren't-so-insane rants. "I don't let [Heidi] go on TV, no computers," Spencer told Kristen Cavallari on The Hills. ." This comes on the heels of Heidi getting a restraining order against her own mother.

Star reports this week that part of the reason Tim Robbins and Susan Sarandon split after more than 20 years together is his on-and-off affair with Meg Ryan.
