Study shows that men with much younger wives live longer. Are cougars onto something?
We all know many men are turned on by younger women. Lucky for them, many women like older men as well. So when a few, or even several, years separate a loving couple, no one really bats an eye. When that age difference creeps closer to 10 years, however, a few minds might wonder what they have in common. And if it's 15 or 20 years, the heads definitely start turning and the eyes rolling. Many silently (or publicly) judge these couples—assuming that they are usually searching for something other than love. … Read More
SeekingArrangements.com wants to put gold diggers and sugar daddies together.
By now you're probably familiar with the idea that there exists a special kinship between rich men and attractive women. In fact, there appears to be a preternatural attraction between wealthy, older fellows and jaunty, nubile broads.
This weekend's New York Times Magazine explores the interweb destination SeekingArrangement.com. The site's raisin d-tree (it's Latin, or so I heard through the grapevine) is to provide a safe place for PYTs* to shake their little behinds for the moneyed menfolk (per the Times article, one quarter of the people on the site are trolling for dudes and about … Read More

Online kids' game is giving Barbie a run for the bad-messaging money.
Mattel's famously ill-proportioned doll looks like a feminist role model next to an online game with growing popularity among young British and French girls where players create avatars that compete to be “the coolest, richest and most famous bimbo in the whole world."
The game, Missbimbo.com works on a Sim City-like premise: enhance or die. In this case, players are given a naked avatar that must be fed sparingly, kept on a costly diet pill regimen and complete tasks like buying breast implants in order to earn virtual "mula" and increase popularity ranking -- measured in … Read More
Nicole Cohen didn't realize how much her life would change by marrying wealthy.
I live in a famous building on Fifth Avenue owned by a certain publicity loving billionaire with a bad pompadour. One year ago, I had no health insurance and lived with my parents in Brooklyn. What happened?
It's simple, really: I fell in love with a man who is out of my age—and tax—bracket. Some people would call me a trophy wife. At times, I, too, have wondered if that's what I've become.
When I met David at a party of a mutual friend, I was a 21-year-old Jewish girl with a freshly minted Ivy League degree in philosophy, … Read More
