Well first let's define F%&! Buddy. According to Urbandictionary.com definition numero 6. (The explanation our relationship coaches liked most) breaks it down pretty clear: F%@K Buddy: All the benefits of having a relationship minus the bullshit like acting interested in Every Word He Says, trying to sleep through mega-hertz snores, feeling like shit when he can't use a calendar to remem
We’ve received this question from many women and have decided to address it here. As we often repeat, we’re here to help you understand how we think, and why we do what we do. The more you understand about us, the less confused you’ll be, and the easier it will be for you to have an open, successful relationship with the man of your dreams.
Most men enjoy strippers. Even the ones who do not actively visit strip clubs like the idea of a sexy woman dancing naked for them. Throw in the fact that men are visual animals with a genetic predisposition to breed with as many women as possible in order to successfully spread their genetic seeds. You can see the appeal on a purely instinctual level.
Natalie and Ashton did it this year. Kristen Wiig did it with that dude with the Porsche in Bridesmaids. JT and Mila are totally doing it this summer. The whole friends-with-benefits thing is SO on trend. But… is it healthy? And can it really be done with no strings attached? Have a seat. Let's talk.
Are 'No Strings Attached' and 'Friends With Benefits' the same movie? I know, I know—your first reaction is probably the one that I had. "This is old news! We already know these movies are dealing with the same best-friends-sleep-together-then-fall-in-love story." But neither of us is as awesome as The Blind Film Critic, who mashed up the two trailers to show that even the perspective shots are the exact same. (OK, so he probably didn't make it himself, but he had someone combine the trailers to show the truth.)
Here's the thing about sex: it's different for every woman. The way we think about it, talk about it, do it or choose not to do it is unique to pretty much every single one of us. Some girls are adamant about only having one partner their whole lives. Some of us see it as sacred, only to be shared within committed relationships, while others are more free and look at various partners as forms of sexual exploration or ways to get to know themselves. And, there are those of us who see it as just plain fun, no strings attached.
Just as we saw the evolution of bigger beaks in Galápagos finches so they could break seeds for eating, we're seeing an evolution in how humans engage in relationships. Monogamy, unfortunately, isn’t natural for primates and mammals. When Natalie Portman's character in the upcoming movie, "No Strings Attached," said, "I think monogamy goes against basic biology," she was, unfortunately, correct.
Monogamy is quite the controversial topic these days. On one hand, we adore the ideal of a sexually satisfying monogamous marriage. On the other hand, men and women are finding this goal increasingly difficult to follow. Politicians and sports figures offer examples of the challenges of monogamy on an almost daily basis. And the statistics speak for themselves – about half of marriages end in divorce, and some experts suggest that over 50 percent of men and women have had an extramarital affair.
You’ve probably never even thought about it. What impact does this culture have on your sex life? It may surprise you to learn that the answer is quite a bit.
The holidays are right around the corner, and if egg nog, stuffing and Bing Crosby's "White Christmas" do mysterious things to your libido—fear not. We suffer from the Holiday Friskies, too. We feel your sexually frustrated pain. Whether your parents' guest bedroom has you aching for another's or a holiday getaway is in order, there's nothing like a few guilt-free days off to initiate a bold try with what's-his-name from high school or that-one-over-there at the resort bar (if you're fancy). Regardless, the holidays are a perfect time for a no-strings-attached fling. Here are a few ways to make it run exceptionally smooth.
