Hugh Hefner and Crystal Harris

The Statistics Prove It: Hef Only Slept With Crystal Harris Once

Older people just aren't as virile. Sorry, Hef!

Think I'm kidding? Hugh Hefner's 28-year-old runaway bride, Crystal Harris, recently announced the couple had sex only one time during their engagement and that it lasted only "like two seconds." Although Hefner, 85, says she's lying, these stats may lead you to actually side with the blond bombshell (despite her shady track record).

Male Menopause Demystified

Dropping hormone levels are to blame for this common mid-life condition.

If he's been feeling rundown lately, become unusually short-tempered and restless, has less interest in sex, complains that his joints ache, or wakes in the middle of the night sweating, the reason could be male menopause—or, as some doctors call it, "andropause." It's triggered by dropping hormone levels in middle-age. Sound familiar?

Study: Male Hair Loss Drug Propecia Making Men Impotent

A recent study suggests that the drug used to fight baldness is damaging men's sex lives.

Guys, would you rather lose your hair or lose your sexual prowess? Sounds like a pretty rotten deal, but a new study shows that men who take medication for hair loss risk losing something particularly valuable in return. The research, which was published in The Journal of Sexual Medicine this month, says that 5 to 23 percent of men who took the prescription drug finasteride (sold as Propecia) may suffer impotence, low libido, erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation and an inability to orgasm.

he can't get an erection

Male Take: When He Can't Get An Erection

No erection? What to say when he can't get it up.

When a man can't get it up, the experience for him and his partner falls somewhere between awkward and utterly mortifying—I've even heard of men not calling women back because they were so ashamed of their inability to keep it up. So what can a woman say or do when her man can't get an erection? Here are five things you can say to help make the best of the situation. Because men are so sensitive about it, and because it's about as embarrassing a moment as he can experience, it puts the woman in a really tough spot. Of course you just want to say, "Honey, is there something I can do to help?" But in some cases, that's exactly what he doesn't want to hear. He's thinking, "No, I'm just dying from the pressure here, and the last thing I want you to do is even notice, much less try to help!" Even worse is if you say, "Is there something wrong?" or "Are you okay?"—because, yes, there obviously is something wrong (you don't have to remind me!) and, no, I'm clearly not OK, I'm flaccid! So what can a woman say or do when her man can't rev up the engines? Here are a few possibilities, but know that any one of these can backfire too, depending on the circumstances. But, in order of most likely to go over well, here are five ways you can say to help make the best of the situation.

male birth control, injection

Finally, The Male "Pill" Is THIS Close

Forget a vasectomy, brah. There's a new male birth control on the horizon (maybe).

Scientists haven't yet given up hope on the Holy Grail of a male birth control that can bridge the gap between boring, erection-threatening condoms and the semi-reversible vasectomy. The most recent developments in birth control for men involve injections that may have to be administered every other month.

Racy Vegetarians Get No Superbowl Love

Racy Vegetarians Get No Superbowl Love

NBC rejects suggestive PETA commercial as obscene.

Do vegetarians have better sex? Vegetarians behind People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) say their meat-free diets make their sex lives superior, but NBC will hear nothing of it. The network rejected PETA's racy "Veggie Love" Super Bowl commercial, saying it depicts a level of sexuality exceeds their standards. (Was it the suggestion of asparagus penetration or the suggestive pumpkin licking?) Actually, NBC submitted a blush-worthy list of additional shots to be cut before the commercial is resubmitted. It included "touching her breast with her hand while eating broccoli," "pumpkin from behind between legs," "rubbing pelvic region with pumpkin," "screwing herself with broccoli," "licking eggplant," and "rubbing asparagus on breast." Lucky for Love Buzz, the commercial doesn't exceed our standards.

men gardening

Why Gardening Could Be Good For Your Sex Life

A whole new way to look at a hoe. But is this for real?

A recent study published in the European Urology journal is saying men who garden, dig or mow the lawn for a minimum of 30 minutes a week have an easier time getting and maintaining an erection. Researchers at the Medical University of Vienna are claiming a newfound interest in tending to weeds, flowers and plants can "dramatically improve a man's performance in bed." By a third, they say. As it turns out, it isn't the relationship with flowers and the outdoors that gets a man's penis revving—it's the exercise. Men who burn as little as 1,000 extra calories a week reduces their risk of impotence. Men who go the extra mile and burn 4,000 calories a week can improve their circulation in such a profound way that it more than halves their risk of erectile dysfunction.

Kiwi Chicks Dig Cialis

Kiwi Chicks Dig Cialis

New Zealander women preferred Cialis over Viagra.

Researchers in New Zealand recently conducted a survey of 100 couples about ED medication. They found that most women prefer the flexibility (poor choice of words) of Cialis. Cialis can be used for 36 hours compared to Viagra's 4 hour lifespan.

UK Dating Site Caters To Sexless Relationships

Some people want to be in a relationship but just don't want to engage in the sex part. Sometimes there are physical complications and sometimes the reasons are emotional. A new British dating site caters to this asexual crowd that want love and companionship, but no sex.
