Does the personal addictive patterns of celebs reveal a pattern of sexuality occurring in society?
The label “sex addict” has been plastered on public figures like Anthony Weiner, Tiger Woods, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Michael Douglas, and David Duchovny (just to name a few). It’s easy to see that the extra-curricular sexual activities of these men have been harmful to their families, work, and themselves. The question for the rest of us is: Does the personal addictive patterns of celebrities reveal a pattern of sexuality that is occurring throughout our society (an expression that ultimately doesn’t bring greater satisfaction or meaning)?
Here are some notable duos who gave love a second shot this summer.
Celebrity couples are breaking up, getting back together, moving on, finding new love and embracing the single life on any given day. In fact, many of them are experts at being indecisive and unstable when it comes to relationships. It’s not exactly a lifestyle to strive toward, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t make us smile when a sweet pair of our favorite stars decides to get back together after previously calling it quits. Here are some notable duos that elected to give it another shot this summer:
This superstar couple still feel like newlyweds after two years of marriage.
Yesterday reality starlet Khloe Kardashian, 27, and her LA Laker hubby Lamar Odom,31, celebrated their second wedding anniversary. For some couples, the honeymoon phase doesn't last long after the first year or so... but not for these two reports Us Magazine! They're still as much in love as they were when they first decided to get married after only knowing each other for one month!
After calling off their wedding in July, the reality star & her ex-fiance are giving it another go.
A few months apart might have reignited an old flame for reality star Kristin Cavallari and her ex-fiance Jay Cutler, a quarterback for the Chicago Bears. According to sources, the two are giving love another chance and "working it out" after calling off their engagement in July.
"They're not officially back together but they're definitely talking and figuring things out," the source said. "Everything happened too fast when they first got together. So this time they're taking things slow."
The actress is rockin' and rollin' with her new love interest.
We all heard the story about a month ago—when Hurricane Irene was just getting started in the Atlantic Ocean—that Kate Winslet had been vacationing at Richard Branson's private isle in the British Virgin Islands when the house caught fire. Everyone escaped safely (Kate even saved Branson's mother in the process), but if you were like us, you were wondering: "What was Kate doing hanging out with the 61-year-old billionaire?"
Well, turns out that she wasn't shacking up with the Virgin Group tycoon, but with his nephew—who goes by the name Ned Rocknroll (seriously, he legally changed his name to that). Ned (née Abel Smith), according to some British tabloids, is completely "smitten" with Ms. Winslet. A source for The Sun said when Ned first met Kate "he realized she was a real grown up and was attracted to her maturity. He also liked the fact she was a little bit older. He finds her incredibly sexy." Ned is merely two years younger than the 35-year-old actress. /node/55724
Okay, we're being a little sarcastic. After you two broke up in July only to get back together in August, we knew it wouldn't be long till we would hear things weren't working out. Well, that day has come. Von D, Tattoo artist and former star of the cancelled show, L.A. Ink, took to her Facebook page this weekend to clear up some "odds and ends" — AKA rumors about her relationship with Sandra Bullock's ex, James.
Michaele calls her affair "a fairy tale" but her husband says he was "duped."
On the Today show Friday morning, an emotional Tareq Salahi opened up to Matt Lauer about wife Michaele's affair with Journey band member, Neal Schon. For a while, he thought his wife was abducted—not sleeping with another man! Michaele herself came forward and confessed to willingly running off with Schon, calling their relationship a "fairy tale romance." Her husband, meanwhile, was clueless.
Find out why the soap opera star says he breaks relationship do's and don'ts "every day."
Mark Consuelos is feeling pretty down today. His soap opera, All My Children, is ending this afternoon after 41 long, successful years on the air. "We are mourning the loss," he tells us. "That was such a great place to work." However, the 40-year-old still has a lot to be happy about. He has a wonderful marriage with Kelly Ripa, co-host of Regis & Kelly, whom he met on the set of All My Children back when he first joined the cast in 1995. Plus, every night he comes home to have dinner with her and their three beautiful children, Michael, 14, Lola, 10, and Joaquin, 8.

Cheating. Scandal. Divorce. Too often, celebrity relationships end as a result of one of these unfortunate scenarios. Even Buzz Aldrin and his wife of 23 years couldn’t make it last.

Update: the reserved Mr. Pitt has even more to say today!
In a new interview with Entertainment Weekly, Brad Pitt opens up about his professional and romantic relationship with Angelina Jolie and their family life. He even discusses meeting the seductive actress on the movie set of their 2005 film, Mr. and Mrs. Smith, when he was still with ex-wife, Jennifer Aniston. Ouch.
