Today we stumbled across an article that claimed over half of 2,000 people surveyed for DateTheUK had dumped a significant other via some sort of electronic device. The New York Daily News is reporting that Susan Sarandon and Tim Robbins, partners for more than two decades, are no longer a couple. Sarandon's rep confirmed the news today, saying that the pair split last summer.
Sarandon and Robbins were together for 23 years, after first meeting on the set of the film Bull Durham in 1988, the Daily News reports. They have two sons together, ages 20 and 17. Sarandon also has a 24-year-old daughter.
