I recently read a post from a man, a black man, who was giving reasons why statistics supported him dating white women. While the premise was trite, he had some good points. Unfortunately, they were lost in about 5 or so pages of whining, bitterness, and more whining. I was really just plain disappointed and thought, Why can’t we have a conversation about this?

Through my findings it seems as though black women aren't actually opposed to dating outside of their race. Part of the dilemma lies in women of color thinking that men outside of their race won't be attracted to them.

The new census reveals what's changed and what's stayed the same in terms of relationships.
According to the most recent stats, of all women who've ever tied the knot, the number of divorcées reached as high as 41 percent among the age-50-to-59 set. Black women reported the largest amount of splits in the group, with 48 percent claiming they'd divorced at least once in their lifetimes.
