5 Of The Worst Celebrity Breakups Of All Time [PHOTOS]
Celebrity breakups are a dime a dozen – it seems every week we hear of another couple that have called it quits and have subsequently diminished our believe in long-lasting Hollywood love.

Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise may be mega-millionaires, but it seems the couple, who recently celebrated their five-year wedding anniversary, still enjoy simple winter pleasures like ice-skating and holiday baking, just like the rest of us 99-percenters.
Julianne Hough (pronounced Huff) might star in the remake of Footloose, but she is not footloose or fancy free. In fact, she has a significant other named Ryan Seacrest — you may have heard of him. Ask her what it's like to have two Hollywood entities in one relationship and she insists that it works perfectly well. "It helps to be with someone in the business, but we're not just about the business," says the former Dancing with the Stars cast member. "For me and my personality, I do well when my significant other has the same drive and ambition. I love that he understands my world," she says. We caught up with Julianne to find out more about her "world," including her relationship with Ryan, dancing her butt off for that hot body and what it feels like to remake such a classic 80s dance movie.
It seems Katie Holmes' new horror movie, Don't Be Afraid of the Dark, features a little bit of art imitating life. Holmes plays Kim, a woman who marries a man with a young daughter, which sounds familiar to the actress's marriage to Tom Cruise (he had two adopted kids from his previous marriage with Nicole Kidman). Not only that, but Kim and the daughter, played by young actress Bailee Madison, bond in a mother-daughter way over some horrifyingly scary action — something the real-life mom can definitely relate to.
Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise have been together for over six years now—which is a pretty long time for Hollywood standards, especially considering everything that was working against them: Tom being a devout member of one of the weirdest and perhaps craziest religions there is (Katie is now also a Scientologist), Katie being much younger than he is, their getting together on the heels of her break-up from Chris Klein, and the fact that she was pregnant before they were wed. But this couple is still very much together, and despite constant tabloid rumors that their relationship has become rocky, it seems Tom and Katie are still quite in love with each other.
Despite whatever rumors people may have to say about Tom Cruise, it definitely seems that the ladies have a hard time getting over him. First there was that whole thing with Cher… And now there's Nicole Kidman, who admitted to Marie Claire UK in their latest issue that her break-up with Tom did quite the number on her.
By Erika Hymowitz Vujnovich Chelsea Clinton/Mark Mezvinsky, Naomi Watts/Liev Schreiber, Tom Cruise/Katie Holmes and even Brad Pitt/Angelina Jolie are among the numerous celebrity couples attempting to make an interfaith relationship work. While it’s nice to believe the old saying “love conquers all,” there are often many challenges an interfaith couple faces. Speaking from experience, I entered into an interfaith marriage five years ago.
From Tom Cruise to John Travolta to Jake Gyllenhaal, gay rumors are certainly nothing new for Hollywood's leading men—and James Franco is no exception. Yet amid frantic denials and strategic avoidance by other stars, Franco's not shy about discussing his sexual preference—on-screen and off.
Happy Friday, CelebLove readers! It seems like lots of dramz is goin' down in H-Town, as Snoop Dogg might put it. Snoop even makes an appearance in this week's round-up. (Guess which soon-to-be princess should be worried about her fiancé's bachelor party getting out of hand?) Read on for some celebrity gossip too juicy to miss...
Happy Halloween, CelebLovers! Who/what is everyone planning on dressing up as? Personally, we'd love to see some Halloween-lovers in costume as some of the celebrity couples below. (We're thinking the David Arquette ensemble would only require some fake tears, a telephone, and a sign that says 'Courteney take me back!') But, for even more topical costume ideas, check out this week's gossip round-up below.
This week it was reported that Elisabeth Moss officially filed for divorce from her husband of less then a year Saturday Night Live actor Fred Armisen. Nobody knows for sure why the two split, but it's rumored that Elisabeth, a Scientologist, was more interested in the religion then her own marriage. Is Scientology toxic to relationships?
