Just because they like dudes doesn't mean we can't think they're totally dreamy.
Gay men and straight women have been natural allies for years, sharing relationship horror stories and top billing on popular '90s sitcoms. And now that there are so many out and proud celebrities, and such adorable ones, too, that we don't see any reason why we should limit our crushes to heterosexuals. Here are seven of our favorite famous gay men, and the reasons we love them so (yes, like that).

These sci-fi guys are pretty good husbands, warts and all.
Science fiction television appears to be in a renaissance. Unfortunately, the networks are too concerned with things like "viewers," "ratings" and "revenue" to see brilliance when it smacks them in their collective, unoriginal face. But the die-hard fans aren't. We know quality programming when we see it, even if it only appeals to an extra-brilliant niche. Read: Throwing A Sci-Fi Theme Wedding

A week after taking the helm of J.J. Abrams's Star Trek reboot, Chris Pine was spotted out in L.A. with The Hills' Audrina Patridge. The two met for drinks May 15 at the Red Lion Tavern in Silverlake, California, and In Touch reports that Audrina was seen leaving his apartment May 2.
The pair met at the ShoWest convention in Las Vegas last month. He received the male star of tomorrow award, and Audrina got the convention's ladies' counterpart (yeah, we were surprised too). "Chris was looking at Audrina a lot, and you could tell that he thought she … Read More

Star Trek fans compete to marry Spock-style.
The most romantic place in the Milky Way for nerds this past Valentine's Day wasn't a local Dungeons and Dragons chapter, a renaissance festival reunion, or even dear old Mom's basement. No, benevolent earthlings, it was a place even more thrilling and exotic than all those magical locations put together. It was Detroit.

But, I had to set my expression to stunned after seen the first trailers of the JJ Abrams prequel. It looks pretty sexy, action, cool. And I was even further relieved that they weren't pressured to let William Shatner bullrush his way into the picture (I have nothing against Bill Shatner, but it's a role that he would be silly to reprise, especially with a generation who knows him as James … Read More

Susan Sarandon, William Shatner, & Denise Richards share some wisdom.
The good people over at Starpulse have a smorgasbord of celebrity advice, revelations, and memoirs. Ah yeah, celebrity hindsight is alway 20/20.
First off, Bill Shatner had his fair share of the 60's and 70's sci-fi groupie tail. Roughly 85% of it; the rest was gobbled up by Lee Majors in his Six Million Dollar Man era (this does not include any action that Majors got during his days on The Fall Guy). As Captain Kirk, William Shatner embodied the macho man of his era and managed to capture America's love affair with the space age. According to … Read More
