The actress is rockin' and rollin' with her new love interest.
We all heard the story about a month ago—when Hurricane Irene was just getting started in the Atlantic Ocean—that Kate Winslet had been vacationing at Richard Branson's private isle in the British Virgin Islands when the house caught fire. Everyone escaped safely (Kate even saved Branson's mother in the process), but if you were like us, you were wondering: "What was Kate doing hanging out with the 61-year-old billionaire?"
Well, turns out that she wasn't shacking up with the Virgin Group tycoon, but with his nephew—who goes by the name Ned Rocknroll (seriously, he legally changed his name to that). Ned (née Abel Smith), according to some British tabloids, is completely "smitten" with Ms. Winslet. A source for The Sun said when Ned first met Kate "he realized she was a real grown up and was attracted to her maturity. He also liked the fact she was a little bit older. He finds her incredibly sexy." Ned is merely two years younger than the 35-year-old actress. /node/55724
Virgin Galactic space weddings, a zero g wedding and some cosmonaut nuptials action.
Fine, suffice it to say that people (nay really cool people) are obsessed with the idea of zero gravity copulation. But since someone feels squeamish about turning the space program into a cosmic spring break, it's been agreed that space weddings are a better way to make zero g love happen. Richard Branson is all over this. As are Noah Fulmer and Erin Finnegan and Yuri Malenchenko and Ekaterina Dmitriev.
Sex in space presents a handful of challenges. Good luck, Virgin Galactic.
As we attempt to explore the stars, one thing we're going to have to count on is sex in space. We're just animals, after all. But there are some concerns with the near zero-gravity, the confines, and the artificial environment of the space shuttle to consider.
Richard Branson has done it again, he's going to officiate a space wedding.
Virgin Galactic (and founder Richard Branson) are making first again. The world's first commercial spaceliner is going to host a space wedding. A lucky couple is going to pay a nice chunk of change to get hitched 70 miles above the Earth. Good scene. Lance Bass is not amused.
Ironically, we were surfing the world wide web and bumped into details on Larry Page's wedding. You may not know the name, but he is one of the founders of Google. He's due to wed Lucy Southworth on a tiny Caribbean island owned by Sir Richard Branson.
