Paul McCartney
We take a look back at Brangelina, Bennifer, and the 00s' most unforgettable celebrity love stories.
Over the last ten years, we've watched our favorite celebs hook up, break up, break down, flip out and start over. With all of its love triangles, legal battles, family dramas and political scandals, the "Naughties" certainly earned its wicked name!
1. The Jen/Brad/Angelina Triangle - Gossip bloggers should give daily thanks to the pop culture gods for Brad Pitt's and Jennifer Aniston's 2005 divorce. No other recent event has led to so much tabloid fodder. Despite their adulterous start, the tabloids quickly adopted "Brangelina" (and their million kids) as THE hip Hollywood couple, … Read More
Breaking up is hard to do, especially for the rich and famous.
Marriage is hard work, we know, but sometimes a couple can put everything they have into making their relationship work, and it still goes bad. And then it gets worse, when it comes time to divide up kids, pets, and that signed vintage copy of Thriller that you swear was originally yours. It turns out that Hollywood's famous faces really are just like us, as we’ve seen in the horrible mess Nas and Kelis have gotten themselves into. Famous people's divorces are nasty, mudslinging affairs, but damned entertaining ones.

Can Paul McCartney’s Ex Buy Happiness?
High-roller Heather Mills may be longing for yesterday, after news of her arguably-excessive spending has come to fruition. Fametastic reports that Mills has spent £10 million from her seven months-old-divorce settlement with legendary musician Paul McCartney. A source says Heather has been moaning that her money isn't going as far as she'd thought.
While £10 million is no chump change –its interest alone could feed a small army- Mills does seem to have more where that came from. Her sum settlement weighted in at about £24.3 million pounds: £7.8 million pounds of existing assets, £14 million straight up cash, … Read More
McLachlan, Mischa, Dunst, Tara Reid, and John Lennon had big weeks.
We're not perfect. We try our best but sometimes we miss good stuff. Enjoy the weekend and try not to run into a hurricane.
According to The Star, Sarah McLachlan and husband Ashwin Sood (gesundheit) are splitting. We're reasonably sure that she'll remember him, the question is: will he remember her? Forget it, we just hope he doesn't let his life pass him by.
People is reporting that Mischa Barton and her guy Taylor Locke have split up. The 2 have been dating since some point in the not-too-distant past. She'll probably just pour herself into … Read More
Yep, Phil Collins divorce cost him more than Paul McCartney's.
Take that, Macca. A fellow British Rock N' Roll hall-of-famers has officially paid his ex more in a divorce settlement than Paul McCartney. Phil Collins (former drummer/star of Genesis) just reached the end of his divorce from Orianne Cevey and according to People she received almost $47 million. Depending on the exchange rate, this is about $2 million more than the £24.3 million that Heather Mills wrested away from the world's greatest living musician.
This was Phil Collins' third divorce (and none of the women were named Sussudio) and you would have thought that he’d learned a … Read More
Hefner to bring Dasha Astafieva on board? Paul to marry Nancy Shevell?
You can't keep a good playboy down, can you? According to Monsters & Critics, Playboy founder Hugh Hefner has a new bunny in his pipeline. In addition to his stable of All American blondes (Holly Madison, Kendra Wilkinson, and Bridget Marquardt, of Girls Next Door fame), Hef has, apparently taken a shining to Ukrainian Dasha Astafieva... a brunette. Sure, hair color is only as far away as far away as a bottle these days but just the fact that he's interested in a brown-head is newsworthy, right? No? Whatever. All we know is that she looks … Read More

New song "My Soul" explores the Heather Mills era.
While it's not novel to turn personal pain into lyrics (we think the music industry is largely predicated upon this concept), for some reason we're a little surprised to see Paul McCartney doing so. We don't know if it's his perceived elegance or his slightly advanced age but we picture Sir Paul as more of a "Let It Be" kind of guy. That's why we were a little surprised to see the New York Daily News report that the former Wings frontman has at least 1 Heather Mills-related song on his next album.
The ballad "My … Read More
Prenups may become legally binding in the UK soon.
Evidently, up until now prenups have been suggestions in the UK, rather than law. According to The Daily Mail the so-called divorce capital of the world may cease to be a place for high dollar payouts.
This move could be in response to the big bucks that national treasure Paul McCartney paid out to Heather Mills or the $96 million that Beverly Charman won from UK insurance magnate John Charman. The Daily Mail also splashed us with a quick fun fact, evidently Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta Jones have a prenup that will pay … Read More
Today, Paul McCartney and Heather Mills should be forever split.
The 'divorce of the century' (this century, anyways) is not quite over. Yeah, we'd reported that the Heather Mills had been awarded a $48 million settlement or so almost 2 months ago by an English court. But, apparently Mills and Paul McCartney are due back in court today. Reuters reports that the 2 are due back in court for the final declaration before Justice Hugh Bennett. Bennett, you may remember, chastised Heather Mills for being obnoxious and inaccurate during the proceedings. He's expected to grant the divorce on an 'uncontested' basis.
We would hate to see what … Read More
