Are We Surprised 'The Playboy Club' Was Canceled?
Playboy bunnies—a man's primetime paradise, right? Too bad the show was so bad that not even guys would watch it.

There is one new show that seems more realistic than, say, Zooey Deschanel being single for longer than 36 seconds. It's "Up All Night," the new comedy on NBC starring Christina Applegate, Maya Rudolph and Will Arnett (aka Mr. Amy Poehler). It's funny, it's original, and I think it might just be the most feminist new show on television right now.
Perhaps this will be the season that Liz Lemon finds love? 30 Rock has put out a casting call for a new love interest, and it certainly has our mental gears turning. On the show, Tina Fey's character has been wooed (or tried to woo) Dean Winters, Jason Sudeikis, Matt Damon, and Jon Hamm. Who could possibly be next in that trajectory? The show is looking for an unknown between the ages of 36 and 40, who can embody "California-bred with liberal values and a youthful innocence."
Tiki Barber, last seen abandoning his eight-months-pregnant-with-twins wife of 11 years for a 23-year-old NBC intern, is now lowballing wife Ginny on support for her and their children. We weren't sure Tiki could behave much worse after the whole taking-his-mistress-to-the-Olympics thing, but, well, he has.
Do vegetarians have better sex? Vegetarians behind People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) say their meat-free diets make their sex lives superior, but NBC will hear nothing of it. The network rejected PETA's racy "Veggie Love" Super Bowl commercial, saying it depicts a level of sexuality exceeds their standards. (Was it the suggestion of asparagus penetration or the suggestive pumpkin licking?) Actually, NBC submitted a blush-worthy list of additional shots to be cut before the commercial is resubmitted. It included "touching her breast with her hand while eating broccoli," "pumpkin from behind between legs," "rubbing pelvic region with pumpkin," "screwing herself with broccoli," "licking eggplant," and "rubbing asparagus on breast." Lucky for Love Buzz, the commercial doesn't exceed our standards.

'Momma's boy' used to be an insult. But now it's the descriptive title of a contestant on Ryan Seacrest's new reality show. And possibly still an insult. The show seeks to match up homebodies with potential brides with mom's help.
Studies show getting in shape (or staying in shape) as a couple increases mutual weight loss, sexual satisfaction and overall happiness in the relationship. Not to mention the personal rewards that being active reaps. Case in point: try keeping a dry eye while watching the proud faces of NBC's The Biggest Loser contestants who have melted off mega pounds. Even mild exercise, like hiking or going to the driving range, can add a new element to your dinner-and-a-movie dating repertoire. And, imagine how much better tag-teaming a 5K instead of a Jumbo popcorn feels
