It's time to breath a sigh of relief: TLC has announced that they will stop airing the Gosselin reality-show quagmire this November.

Jon & Kate Plus 8, as the show was originally called, morphed into Kate Plus 8, when John Gosselin's antics became too much for the family-friendly TV channel. But then John forbade TLC to film his brood, and the network was left with nothing.

What started out as some condescending name-calling (on her part), affairs with trashy women (on his), and angry interviews (a seemingly fun activity for both), has devolved into something we call overzealous use of the ex's money (when we want to sound nice) or outright theft (when we don't).

Yesterday a bombshell hit when sources spilled that Jon Gosselin had been kicked off Jon & Kate Plus 8, transforming the show into the brilliantly titled Kate Plus 8, highlighting Kate Gosselin as a single mom.

This morning TLC announced that John would no longer be appearing in Jon & Kate Plus 8, and that the show will be renamed Kate Plus 8, according to People. At least it still rhymes. On November 2, we'll no longer be seeing the male half of the troubled Gosselin couple on TV. Except, maybe we will… Jon may be soon showing off his people skills in a talk show—he's reportedly taped a pilot costarring Paula Deen, Food Network star.
