To hook up. What does it mean? Turns out even though college students are the ones doing most of the hooking up, they don't quite know what it means. And a new study proves that there's a lot more talk about hooking up than people actually doing it. Surprised, anyone?
Well ladies, it looks like no one has had quite enough of the Sex and the City franchise. Close on the heels of the announcement of a SATC3 film, the CW has bought the rights to a show based on The Carrie Diaries. The SATC prequel series could hit the small screen this time next year.
On-screen, Leighton Meester plays cat-and-mouse with unrequited love Ed Westwick. Off-screen, she was crushed by her breakup from Gossip Girl co-star Sebastian Stan. Seventeen covergirl Leighton says her split from Sebastian, who played the smarmy Carter Baizen, was rough stuff because he was the first guy she ever actually liked.
OMG, Upper East Siders (and all of the rest of you,) Gossip Girl's golden couple, Blake Lively and Penn Badgley have broken up, and their reps even confirmed it, making it totally official. According to US Magazine, Blake and Penn broke up in mid-September after dating for 3 years and are "still good friends," which is nice, because, otherwise, it's going to be awkward next season if their characters, Serena and Dan, start dating again and they are professionally required to make-out with each other and, you know, pretend the other person didn't completely break their heart and/or repulse them.
Ed Westwick and Jessica Szohr's spring breakup is affecting their Gossip Girl costars now that the show is back in production. The New York Post's Page Six reports that Ed "is heartbroken and wants nothing to do with" Jessica, and that he's "alienated Jessica from the rest of the cast."
Taylor Momsen was just a sweet, 14-year-old girl when she first burst onto the scene as little Jenny Humphrey on Gossip Girl, but three years later, Taylor is anything but shy, wearing underwear and stripper heels on stage, smoking cigarettes, and talking trash about her fellow teen idols. And, now, in a move that's sure to make a lot of pre-tweens ask 'what's a vibrator?,' Taylor has opened up to Disorder Magazine about her sex life.
