The Millionaire Matchmaker Patti Stanger's no-nonsense dating tips.
Last night on Patti Stanger's The Millionaire Matchmaker, we met a new millionaire, Mateo, and a former player/millionaire from last season, Jimmy D. Mateo, is an older man and "original Microsoft millionaire" who literally whipped out an extensive list of all the required attributes he wanted in his future wife. Jimmy D. is a Chicago nightclub owner, who preferred clubbing to commitment last season.
Jimmy D. swore up and down that he was ready for a real, deep woman (and for once, he wasn't talking about her cleavage). After a near-death experience (he was beaten and lost…an eyelid?) he was … Read More
"Real" "housewife" to appear in Playboy.
Kelly Bensimon, one of Bravo's "Real" New York housewives, will appear in the March issue of Playboy, US Weekly reports, and it'll be her ex-husband behind the camera. Hopefully that won't make her rumored new boyfriend, dreamy Top Chef runner-up Sam Talbot, too jealous. Well, if he is, he can come to our house and cook away the pain.
Kelly, who's 41, was married to Elle magazine's former creative director, Gilles Bensimon, until 2006. Something of a fashion-world playboy (appropriate, oui?), Gilles, who was also previously married to Elle MacPherson, shot most of Elle's covers from when … Read More

Kate Hudson and Alex Rodriguez have been dating happily since last November, but there's friction: The wives and girlfriends of other Yankees can't stand Kate, according to Page Six, and the cold shoulders they've been throwing Kate's way have gotten so vicious their ballplaying boyfriends are getting involved. "The Yankees told the girls to be careful who they spoke to about Kate," a source told the New York Post's gossip page. "They are concerned about the ramifications for the players."
The mean girl ringleader seems to be shortstop Derek Jeter's gorgeous ladyfriend, Friday Night Lights actress Minka Kelly, … Read More

Reading Patti Stanger's book and putting the matchmaker's dating advice to the test.
When it came to my dating life, I wasn't sure I should listen to Patti Stanger, host of Bravo's The Millionaire Matchmaker and author of the book Become Your Own Matchmaker: 8 Easy Steps for Attracting Your Perfect Mate. Could someone hoisting a gold, ruby-encrusted Cupid's arrow on her book cover, whose ample bosom was jammed into a white Liberace pantsuit, help me, an outdoorsy New Yorker with an A cup seeking a sweet, humble, non-cologne wearing guy with no roommates?
I was doubtful. But as an early thirties lady swinging and missing on the New York … Read More

On Tonight's Millionaire Matchmaker, Patti tries to set up a plastic surgeon, who claims that out of all the woman he's dated, "there's never been a face that didn't need something." Imagine having to date this guy! Dr. Robert Nettles is a 34-year-old "cosmetic facial surgeon," and he's super picky. Ruh-roh. According to the New York Post's Page Six, Gretchen Rossi is dating (surely in the exploratory phase) Slade Smiley. The two were recently spotted at a Lakers game. As you may recall, Real Housewives Of Orange County fans, Slade Smiley was engaged to Jo De La Rosa back in the day. In fact, their ill-suited romance made for the premise of the spin-off Date My Ex: Jo And Slade.
Judging from the concept of Date My Ex, you'd think that Jo De La Rosa would be cool with Slade moving on. After all, he did … Read More
