Blake Fielder-Civil
Whose relationship is awesome, and whose is headed for a crash and burn?
We spend a lot of time thinking about celebrities' dating, canoodling, and marriage partners. It's kind of an occupational hazard. Eventually you see patterns forming, and while of course we can’t know what's actually going on in the private lives of our favorite entertainers and media fixtures, that doesn't stop us from admiring and trying to emulate them at times, whether it's a fantastic outfit or what looks like an effortlessly happy, mutually supportive relationship. And then there are the disasters, the twosomes we wish would break up and put each other, and us, out of their misery. Read on … Read More
Breaking up is hard to do, especially for the rich and famous.
Marriage is hard work, we know, but sometimes a couple can put everything they have into making their relationship work, and it still goes bad. And then it gets worse, when it comes time to divide up kids, pets, and that signed vintage copy of Thriller that you swear was originally yours. It turns out that Hollywood's famous faces really are just like us, as we’ve seen in the horrible mess Nas and Kelis have gotten themselves into. Famous people's divorces are nasty, mudslinging affairs, but damned entertaining ones.

Judge speeds up papers, while rep says Amy is "healthy" and "ready to move on."
This morning a Family Court judge in London granted a preliminary stage of divorce that will be finalized in just six weeks to 25-year-old tortured soul singer Amy Winehouse and her jailhouse hubby Blake Fielder-Civil.
OK! reported this development that puts to rest a breakup saga that has occupied almost all of their two-year marriage, during most of which Blake was in jail. The couple wed in May 2007 in Miami, and a month later Amy admitted in an interview that when she was drinking, she sometimes acted violently toward her husband. In July 2008 from his … Read More
Blake Fielder-Civil wants a divorce on grounds of adultery by Amy Winehouse.
Evidently, Blaaaaaaake has had enough. The rumors and intimations and scandals have really, really offended Blake Fielder-Civil's sensitive sensibilities. According to HuffPo (that's what the kids are calling the Huffington Post, FYI), BF-C filed for divorce from the anachronistic pop star Amy Winehouse on grounds of adultery. The oft-beehived one has been allegedly getting frisky with some bohonk named Josh Bowman (though Bild say that ship has also sailed) in the Caribbean.
And one thing that Blake (or any of the Fielder-Civils, for that matter) will not abide by is infidelity. He probably had dozens … Read More
Blake Fielder-Civil wants more of Amy Winehouse's money.
According to Bossip, Blake Fielder-Civil (ex-con, narcotics enthusiast) evidently has some dirt on Amy Winehouse. Apparently, the chivalrous young chap would prefer to keep this information to himself. But the sort of information that he is privy to may be valuable to someone, at some point. So, Blake Fielder-Civil has some decisions to make. Should he sit on this information, he’ll miss out on a goodly-sized check. If he's to do the honorable thing, the people will not be informed (as is their right) to the inner goings on of their favorite substance-abusing, tattooed songstress.
Blake Fielder-Civil is out of jail, in rehab and wants Amy Winehouse back.
Amy Winehouse's dude, Blake Fielder-Civil, is finally out of jail and ready to tear some sh*t up. Or possibly fly right. We forget if the point of English jail is to rehabilitate blokes or just punish them. Whatever the case, old dude has already ruffled some feathers.
Per FemaleFirst, Blake told this broad named Sophie Schandorff that he was getting out of jail early (good behavior?) and was checking himself into rehab (WE REFUSE TO MAKE THAT JOKE). Evidently, he did not tell Amy Winehouse the good news until later. Word is that she wants the … Read More
Cast your ballot for the top couple of 2007.
Last fall, we decided that the media's plethora of people, events and fill-in-the-blanks "of the year" ratings was lacking a most important element: couples.
We sorted through hundreds of possible pairs -- some famous, some not -- to settle on our top 20 favorite couples of 2007. Some eliminations were easier (no offense, Amy Winehouse and Blake Fielder-Civil) than others.
Our list includes Al Gore sans Tipper, a rumored celebrity "fouple" (faux couple) whom we love even if they're only "best friends" and Elizabeth Gilbert, author of last year's bestselling book Eat, Pray, Love.
Now it's up to you to give the … Read More
