The governor says his mistress is his soul mate, but he'll fall in love with his wife again.
It's been a rough week or so for South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford. Not only has his affair with Argentina native Maria Belen Shapur come out, but since this revelation, many of the state's lawmakers are calling on Sanford to step down. And while the governor insists that he is ready to "fall back in love" with his wife, Jenny, he has also sought to take control of the situation. And by control, we mean blow up any credibility he had left.
In an inteview with the Associated Press, Sanford said he's had flirtations with other women, but … Read More
The South Carolina governor has some more splaining to do.
Stop me if you've heard this one before. Here goes, there's a very charming governor. And one day, this man (an up-and-comer in his political party) decides to stray from his wife. Things were swimming right along and BAM he up and gets caught. This time around there were no hookers involved (nor any Arkansas highway patrolmen). Of course, this is after Gov. Sanford (previously only noteworthy for refusing Pres. Obama's stimulus funds) disappeared and then reappeared, claiming to have gone hiking on the Appalachian Trail. Unfortunately for the family-friendly governor, his cover story happened to highlight Naked Hiking Day. Man, some people just can't catch a break. Read: Why I Cheated

"What does the Tango have to do with love and relationships?" you may ask. Only everything. Literally, everything. According to the Associated Press, the world Tango final took place in Buenos Aires, Argentina over the weekend. And, you guessed it, the Argentines did pretty-y good. They invented the dance, so you would think that they would be good at it. But, like basketball and the USA, the rest of the world is getting way more competitive.
The stage Tango event was won by Melody Celatti and Jose Fernandez. The pair has been training nonstop for 4 months. … Read More
Argentine women are leading social, political and sexual revolutions.
According to the Miami Herald, there is a new sexual revolution in Argentina. And Argentina is home of the tango and because our brand is about love and relationships, we decided it was worth a look.
First of all, the election of Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner (wife of former president Nestor Kirchner) over Elisa Carrio did not happen in a vacuum. During Argentina’s ‘troubled times’ of military dictatorship and economic woes, women were instrumental in keeping the faith.
And so now, according to the article, they’re becoming more sexually dominant. We’re probably not talking about whips and chains … Read More
