He's flirting with my wife and the wilting power of girly decorations.
Lori Gottlieb on "settling" for good enough. Are settling and feminism at odds? 5 deal breakers are a little silly. What 2 must-haves are on everyone's list? Buy Em & Lo's Sex: How To Do Everything DVD, do it. Feminine decor can make a man less likely to feel aroused. When on a date, eat whatever you want, you're worth it. A sex club for husky folks. We interview Em & Lo about their hit TV-show-turned DVD.
If you're familiar with writing about love, sex and everything in between, you know Em & Lo. What you may not know, unless you get UK Channel 5, is that they turned their best-selling 2008 book, Sex: How To Do Everything, into a TV mini-series. I had a chance to interview them about the show and their experience creating it.
Em & Lo's Sex: How To Do Everything has caused a stir in Holt, Michigan.
Em & Lo have a doozy about a sex book missing from a public library in Michigan. The book, their Sex: How To Do Everything, was inadvertently found in the library by a pastor called Brian Henley and he expressed his dismay at the book's placement not in then adult section of the library. Later, all the library's copies of the book went missing. It's a mystery.
Maybe they're not something you'd want your mother to find in your room. Maybe they're not something you'd display on the coffee table. Maybe they're not even something you'd flip through to brainstorm with the new BF. (uh, that's "boyfriend," not "best friend." Unless you've got the best of both worlds.)
But they should be something of a reference library for the bedroom. "They" being sex books. Things get boring. Things get quiet. Thing may even get confusing. You need somewhere to turn. Em & Lo, the patron saints of sex, have a new book for the collection, Sex: How to Do Everything
